As far as I understand it Nick has been trying to get a response from the club for 4 weeks. If you are I had had our money returned would it not be reasonable to expect some sort of reply in 4 weeks?

Absolutely. If the club had explained to Nick why he had been banned, and the explanation given justified the ban then fair enough, but by the very fact that the club have completely ignored him suggests to me that they have no valid reason. So is this simply a case of Cortese being vindictive?

I've sold a few bits on ebay and a couple times buyers (both times outside the UK) have sent me messages trying to negotiated the P+P costs down after they've won the items. Needless to say I politely told them both to **** off. Haggling is one thing, but ahggling after the deal is sealed is ****ing cheeky.

Generally speaking i think everyone is happy, but that doesn't mean NC is above criticism. As others have said we don't know the full story surrounding NI not getting a ST, but if there isn't a very good reason then I cannot support this action.

I haggle all the time on the price of "larger" purchases. A couple of days ago I called at the Post Office with the view to purchase some foreign currency but I felt the rate wasn't good enough compared to the tourist rate offered by the Nat West. I then called in at the Co-Op travel agents (who i've booked the holiday with) and their rate was far worse, but after telling her the Nat West rate, she offered me the staff rate which saved me £30. You've got to have a cheek to get on in this world.

There is one slight flaw in your argument - Nicola Cortese. He has made a catalogue of gaffes in his short period at the club so one must assume that he will continue to make gaffes. Therefore unless NC changes, or is replaced, stories such as is being discussed on this thread will continue to pop up regularly. Cortese is losing support whether you like it or not and that is not a good situation.

You're right, but not selling NI a season ticket isn't fair. Like him or loathe him if you believe in freedom of speech you should support him on this.

If and when it does transpire the NI has been refused a season ticket will you condemn Cortese given that it mirrors your banning from S4E? Yes or No.
