A week in Luxor and week crusing down the Nile appeals to me. I know it's expensive but if we do it it'll have to be a week at the Old Winter Palace. I love the colonial style of these types of hotels. http://www.sofitel.com/gb/hotel-1661-sofitel-winter-palace-luxor/index.shtml

The thing that either makes or break nice trainers, imo, is how you lace them. It has to be straight accross and tied so the knot doesn't show making them slip ons. tied in a bow and criss crossed makes you look like a pikey.

I used to wear trainers like these in the 90's and they still look great. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Adidas-Original-Gazelle-Trainers-Blue-SIZE-10-/170514127997?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Clothing_Menswear_MensShoes_GL&hash=item27b36f1c7d

Just seen the trainers i bought yesterday on ebay for £100! Apparently they're rare.

Well if you'd been kitted out in hi techs as a kid you'd understand.

Not bought any of those brands and never would because they are ostentacious like Stone Island. The make is irrelevent, it's the quality of the material and whether I like it that matters. The only exception to this is trainers where I do push the boat out a bit.

I don't want to go down this road. I saw all types of people in the shop. I got what I was looking for for a good price.

Only with discreet badges.

Not at all. I have never seen a polish person in a polo shirt.

Of course it's the point. If you throw money at something (including provisions for more custododial sentances) then it should improve a given situation. The country is now in the hangover period from 13 years of Labour and we have two choices - the hair of the dog or recovery. As much as i'd like to see the same level of spending directed towards fighting crime (as well as directed towards other public services) it simply cannot happen because we're broke. If and when crime rises it will be Labours fault because it's Labour that racked up the debt which made the banking crisis even more catastrophic which has made a situation where more people will steal to get by, and Labour that have ensured less money is available to fight criminals and to take them out of circulation. The next 20 years of this countries woes will be Labours fault.

Yesterday I discovered TK Maxx and spent £200 on jeans, t-shirts (polo shirts), socks, shorts and a belt. I then called into JD sports and bought a pair of sexy adidas italias. Who needs charity shops when you've got shops like these?
-
I fail to see how accumulating the largest peacetime debt will help the poor. The fact of the matter is that the combination of the banking crisis and Labours frittering approach to finances will undoubtedly hurt everyone including the poor.
-
fat and a chav - what a revolting combination.

FFS, first the booking tax and now this. Cortese out!
-
Given the banking crisis, and Labours incompetent borrowing levels, crime is now bound to rise as we cut back to repair the mess.
-
No it wasn't, and there is little difference between Lowe and Cortese as people and how they operate - if anything Lowe was actually better at PR. Can't believe I said that but it's true. Markus Liebherr is the difference between the two regimes.

I'd like to think we are the most dilligent supporters. If Pompey fans had been a little more "obsessed" maybe, just maybe, they'd have uncovered the charlatans before they got a foot in the door...
-
As I have said before, there is little to pick and choose between Cortese and Lowe. The difference is that Cortese is working for a rich owner, and Lowe was working for a PLC. Putting aside the similarities between the CEO's we are in a far better position now because we have financial stability. That all said it doesn't mean that we, as fans, are not allowed to voice our concerns for the future. Attending football matches has become very expensive in recent times and it's set to become much more expensive - the writing is on the wall with the introduction of the booking tax on tickets and the other price rises we have seen. As much as I want to see a successful Saints team, I also want to have a club that is affordable to support.

A bucket collection or a quiz night?
-
But how many of those who don't have a problem with high prices go to game regularly?
-
I disagree, and think we could be heading for another Sturrock type situation if we don't get off to a flyer.

The best quality option for all inclusive with your budget is Turkey, probably Marmaris. Just checked and there are flights over the weekend and deals under £500 but I can only see night flights which would take you into the following monday morning. I think your best bet would be somewhere like Benidorm for morning flights, at the weekend, at this short notice and within your budget.

Sometimes brilliant, sometimes awful. Time will be the judge and I think if he stays the course (and ML keeps funding us) he'll deliver success, but I'm not encouraged with the way he treats supporters and supporting the club is set to become very expensive.

It's always been the same - it's not what you know it's who you know.
