  1. This where I completely disagree. Saints is now all about the football club with NC not wanting to hog the limelight. Give me this over the Lowe soap opera any day.
  2. I'm very happy with how Nicola and Markus are running my club. Kaiser Soze may have an issue, but i'm guessing that relates more to his actions than the actions of the club.
  3. With a surname like Cruddas he'd never get elected anyway. Harsh and unfair, but it's true. There has been much debate into this sort of thing in the states and politicians with weird names aren't chose for this reason. Imagine if Lembit Opik wasn't a weido and if he hadn't lost his seat - he'd never be a leadership contender because of his name.
  4. Can you spot any resemblences?
  5. Anyway we've got five glorious years of Dave Cam to come so I won't be worrying about Labour a for quite some time.
  6. Both the Millibands may be smart, but they're both very smug and smarmy (though not as bad as Balls). I don't see either as a threat - Alan Johnson would have been a threat though.
  7. He's also the great-great-great-great-great grandson of King William IV so has a little bit of blue Hanoverian blood in his veins too. This makes him the fifth cousin twice removed of the Queen.
  8. That's good news and it's also good news that the Tories have scrapped raising the inheritance tax threshold. I'm sure these measures won't be popular with many Tories, but it's the right thing to do. On a separate note the £ has strengthened against the dollar and the Euro to $1.49 and E1.18 respectively which shows that currency exchanges are happy. There have been falls on the stock market, but this has been a global trend and is related to the state of the Eurozone.
  9. I respect you standing by what you believe is right, but think both you and Unite need to get in the real world. BA is not in the public sector and it needs to compete in a cut throat industry. The old days are gone.
  10. I'm actually warming to the idea of the Liberals in govt. Having the likes of Vince Cable on our side and not against us is certainly an advantage.

    Sam Cam

I did actually think this may be wrong. Did he separate and marry a model?
  12. I despise both Balls and Milliband. I hope Balls gets the job the most though because he'd be the biggest mistake they could make. Shame about Alan Johnson from Labours point of view because I think he'd have public appeal and I do respect him as a politician. Age is probably not on his side though because you're electing a leader for possibly 5 years down the road and then another 5 years should they win in 2015.
  13. I think this may be because they had such a good Conservative MP in Portsmouth North between 1979 and 1997. Peter Griffiths was one of my all time favourite Conservatives.
  14. I wouldn't vote for him because he's not a political party but on things such as climate change and political correctness he says exactly what I think.

Both. Sam Cam has a bit of the Princess Diana about here (minus the bad points). A lot of people on here will scoff at the importance of a leaders wife, but when it comes to global politics how the wives get on is important because behind every great leader is a strong wife in the back ground and I can forsee Sam Cam getting on like a house on fire with Michelle Obama and Marie-Dominique Sarkozy for example. I really do believe that not only have we got a fanastic new world statesman in Dave Cam, but the complete package of a husband and wife team. Gordon and Sarah never fitted in when it came to global networking with brown always being the man on the sidelines.

Everyone is saying such nice things about her. Such an improvement on the plain Jane that Brown was married to and Cruela De Blair before her.
  17. Q. How do grass root liberals feel? A. Who gives a ****.
  18. That was going to be my next victory song.
  19. Rule Britannia is also a fitting song to herald this bright new dawn.
  20. I feel the need for the 1812 Overture.
  21. True, but having an upper class accent and being smart put's you at the optimum advantage. This is where Dave Cameron is.
  22. Not just America. I'm close friends with the daughter of Viscount D'Lisle (he was governor of Australia) and I can assure you that a posh accent does get things done and puts you at an immediate advantage in a given situation. It's wrong, but it's a fact. It's the same in the armed forces.
  23. I know there was violence in Boston last time when a pub put up a sign saying "Polish only".
  24. What about in Hampshire as a whole?
  25. I'm being serious. An upper class accent goes a long way when dealing with foreigners. In America for example they love it and i'm sure David Cameron will be popular.
