Mars appears to have harbored life at one point. It probably lost it's magnetic field long ago due to the core drying out resulting in the unprotected atmosphere being blasted away by solar wind.
And that's just the Milky Way...
Funny some of the comments on there...ie the first one specifically 'stating' how impossible it would be to be visited by any intelligent life basing their theory on our own primitive benchmarks and 'rules' of space travel.
We are being visited and I have been abducted and probed. It's fun.
Yep it's rather good. The performances of the girl and Jeff Bridges are superb. It's a cohen Brothers film and they fail to disappoint although this is quite different from anything they've done before.
Walton too, when I'm back...
And there's a Saints fan called Pippa that lives up Rydens Road that I met at the station before the Exeter game.
Walton on Thames - hotbed of Saints support. 4 and counting (plus 1 next door in Weybridge.)
Don't know what the fuss is about. Seems fairly straight forward to me. It you're still deemed a risk to little kids and women, then you stay on the list.
Boardwalk Empire has been good. Looking forward to the next season.
The Wolfman. 3/10 What a waste of (mainly) good actors. Whilst visually pretty - no scares, predictable, sloppy, unnecessary and boring.
Didn't realize until watching the Baftas yesterday that John Barry kicked the bucket a couple of weeks ago. Superb film and tv composer.
Christopher Lee hasn't got long left has he....
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. 7.5/10 Very satisfying, no nonsense Swedish thriller. There are two more in this trilogy of books turned into film which I aim to hunt down.
Oh look, they're making a Hollywood remake....
