*Boardwalk Yes. 'Tis good. Another HBO success! Nice to see some good British performances in Kelly McDonald and Stephen 'nutcase' Graham (as a young bastardly Al Capone) too. When did that start in England? I forgot to tell my folks to catch it when it came on...

Luthor has made it to BBC America. Pretty good. Idris Elba not quite as convincing as London cop as he did with Baltimore thug Stringer Bell, but very watchable.

If you ever thought that dancing wasn't an 'art' ..
LVSaint replied to NorthamSteve's topic in The Arts
Nah, I'm sure they're all fine really. -
There's 4 now. I'll watch last night's episode later. I'm in Yankeeland and about a week ahead.

Three of them are dead now. The only survivor was the one who sensibly masked his face. Moral of the story - don't ballet dance in bad neighbourhoods. -
Hiring a car? Avoid Europcar like the plague!
LVSaint replied to Sheaf Saint's topic in Motoring Forum
I've been ok with Europcar over the years. I book with the consolidator Autoeurope who have always hooked me up with Europcar. that said, I've never had any claims or dealt with anything that required customer service. I always check the car quite well before taking it as they often have a narky attitude when I deny their CDW coverage. If there are a few scratches and the attendant tells me not to worry, I'll make sure they write it in to avoid any bull****e when I return it. -
Latter day - do you have any more in a set of your avatar?

I thought it was some piglets feeding. I asked Pancake, he told me it was a hermaphrodite from the back.

I was trying to download the chants in order to put on my friend's PS3. When I click the rapidshare links I get this message - "Download can not be started. Too many parallel downloads form your IP address or the limit for free downloads has been reached. This is usually a temporary problem and can be solved by retrying the same URL at a later time or by becoming a RapidPro-user. Do you want to upgrade to RapidPro? YES NO" Never mind. Downloaded fine. Thanks!

Ah yes it was you then! I went to middle school at the end of Monument Hill. Then to Heathside secondary off Brooklands Road. Spent many Friday nights in my youth milling around the cricket ground on Cinzano and White Lightning. Last drove through the town in April. Not much has changed other than the pubs turning into poncy bars and clubs.

I grew up in Weybridge/Hersham/Walton. Where in town do you live? (I think I remember you mentioning it once..Monument Road?)

My 8 year old knows a few Saints songs. He especially thinks me cool singing the Rickie Lambert song in full gusto whenever the tune is played in another context on TV or where ever. We were watching Die Hard the other day and it came on......for example.

Timber has been remixed to death! The 'DK Recut' was on one of the two CD singles I had. Saw Hexstatic quite a few times as they were a regular every month at the Ninja Funkungfusion nights in London in the late 90s. Would liked to have seen them more recently though at a bigger venue - love that Bert and Ernie clip!

Click filmstrip icon titled 'insert video'. Enter clip, press 'ok'.
