Saints 3 - 0 Huddersfield - First Half and Half Time Thread
LVSaint replied to Ponty's topic in The Saints
L&B....right, goin' out for a celebratory smoke. C.O.Y.R! -
Waiting for this to hit Beeb America. First series was good stuff.
-
Agreed. Started off with great promise but tailed off midway through and got lazy towards the end.
-
Frost/Nixon 4/5 - Fascinating duel between the two and the portrayals are top notch. Want to rent the actual interviews now. Inglorious Basterds 4/5 - Nuts and utterly fun. Not sure we needed Pitt (or his squad) TBF. Funny Games (original) 2/5 - Unfortunately saw the American remake first which is a blow by blow copy, so much of the suspense and shockvalue (and the whole sordid plot) wasted. An effective but nasty little film.

The Ricky Gervais Show. This really works well. They've animated (ala Ponty's avatar) some of the podcasts from a few years ago to great effect. Another HBO exclusive (likes Extras was) but comes to C4 soon.

Jabba too. And what about when she's rescued in the Death Star? Door opens and she's laying there expecting some Stormtrooper action. Hussy.

I have not a clue what goes on in this ****ty city for the reason that I can not stomach local news for very long (or any news other than BBC America/some CNN) that is on TV. Dumbed down trashy bollicks the lot of it...as if it needed to be said.

Pus porn at it's finest!

So, things looking up for us plastics then when it goes to general sale?
-
Good luck to you and enjoy. Parents have a 45fter moored in Caversham. I'll be up for a short trip when I'm over next month if the weather co-operates. Nothing like a beer and a ciggy chugging along at 5mph mooring at the pubs along the way.

28,000 elastic bands. Were any of them flicked into the away section?
-
I can resist the temptation and let it go. I can. I can. Right. I'll try to avoid talking to the missus back home cos she knows it's on and will know the outcome. I can always tell the outcome from talking to someone who knows what happened (however much they try to hide it)! ****, it's Valentines Day too, she might divorce me...

Cheers. Although for those arriving at Waterloo, this shouldn't be a problem. (Bakerloo to Baker St/Metropolitan to Wembley Park). (Bakerloo all the way to Wembley Central) (Bakerloo to Marylebone/Chiltern overground line to Wembley Stadium) Any recommendations on the best route through London to the promised land?
-
Tivo-ing it but can't watch it until Sunday at about 10PM PST when I get back from Bakersfield. Need to stay well away from email/BBC/Saintsweb for over 36 hrs..grrr.

I went to 6th form (Strode's) in Egham. I'll be joining the train at Walton On Thames.
-
I see what you're saying. Great ****ing day!
-
I'm willing to make any sacrifice...
-
I hope you're right but won't 1/3 of the ground go for hospitality off the bat? Also willing to sleep with anyone for a ticket or two.
-
Giggityyyyyyyyeah ha Wemberly!
-
I'm not worried.
-
The triple is still on then!
-
and me.....pls. No. But might need a bit of help with Wembley if we make it.
-
Hope you get a ticket, you should be fine judging by some of the responses above. On a slight tangent. I am trying to get out there for late March and April to coincide with the possible Wembley fixture. What sort of trouble might I face getting a ticket if this happens anyone? I'm not a season ticket holder, member or on any database.

Why? I find Terry more of an unpleasant little **** than Stevie...they're mostly all ****s anyway...apart from Theo and Wayne. There.
