I agree, Moffat has done the best episodes (Blink, Library,Fireplace) so looking forward to the new series, although can't see the new Doctor being as much of a success...but time will tell.

Not a great deal of help, but I got the similar Finepix J28 this xmas for my parents. I have not used it but researched it and consensus seems to be that this series have a great and easy to use interface as well as being an all round good quality camera. Also has a bigger screen than the Nikon. The US Amazon reviews for the cheaper J28 are actually much more favourable than the reviews for the J30. I'd try to track down a J28 if I were you. However, those Lumix series from Panasonic for a bit more money are great too. Friend has one and loves it.

Our in-studio pundit is Warren Barton, but I usually have the volume turned down so can't fairly comment on how good he is. Howver, the winner of the award for most hated pundit does to .......that total utter bastard Tommy Smyth. All US expats will know who I mean and if you don't you will when you tune to ESPN for the World Cup next year.

Can you explain? I probably wouldn't mind having iTunes on my computer as I understand you can pretty much drop any MP3 file into it and it will transfer easily...providing to doesn't screw with anything else.

Looking for an inexpensive mp3 player for my wife who wants one to primarily sync to her car stereo aux input. I have just been put off by the whole iTunes thing when using a PC and interfering with other software including WMP....from what I've heard. I know with say the Walkman X and Sansa Fuze (really like this one) it's **** easy to just drag and drop downloaded albums and cd collections in their mp3 format. However, she likes the ipod nano with it's video camera too and her daughter has iTunes from who she can get a lot of music from too. What should I do?

Bones is not the worst offender but the scripting is **** poor and characters are real turds IMO. The Kathy Reichs books that the series is based on are nothing like it.

I will find out how good The Wire is this xmas. Lost, Curb, South Park, Family Guy, Dexter, Twin Peaks, etc.. American TV is certainly enjoying a 'golden era' right now, but there's an awful lot of crap being produced too - Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Bones, CSI Miami, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, as well as the multitude of reality/talent pap (all spawn from the UK sadly)....

They're all pretty crap. Fairytale of New York either has me enjoying it or wanting to kill my radio...depends what mood I'm in. Bah effing humbug.
