I'm always a tiny bit paranoid that one day my business Gmail account might disappear. I've read that I'd need to have POP enabled (which it is) but then archived? Without wanting to start poking buttons and messing things up, what do I need to do to enable incoming and outgoing messages to be automatically stored on my laptop?

This is about the FL being blackmailing ****s. Should we stand up in principle and say **** them - we have the right to appeal. Or accept the inevitable 10 point deduction (now forced upon us in writing without the chance to appeal?) and take Pinnacle, MLT and possibly KK onboard to drive us forward. If we stand up to this, we could lose the above and possibly face further deductions from the FL Nazis? I say take it now and deal with appeals later on if we think it'll count.

I like the fact that she appears posing in the tattooist's brochure smiling with the stars everywhere.

Some clever pussy there. There's an offshoot of this at one of the casinos here which I keep meaning to take my son to. Sort of like Siegfried and Roy isn't it.

Thanks for the responses. I'll cut n paste it all for the trip. I know it's not the best time with the congestion and I was especially looking for more secluded beaches away from the droves, so I will check those out. I like the idea of that cider house in Newton Abbot, I'll bring my own containers for the takeaway service they offer! Is the steam railway from Paignton to Kingswear worth doing?

Can't. Staying with friends in Lydford. If I had an extra week down there, I'd explore Cornwall. Is it worth driving down to St Ives - anything in Cornwall you can't have in Devon?

Staying a week in early August on the western outskirts of Dartmoor. Any advice on good pubs in and around Dartmoor? Beaches on the south coast? Places off the beaten path away from the tourists etc? Thanks.

Lucky git Damian! I'd give my eye teeth to move out of this hole to somewhere along the Pacific NW. Have fun!

UP - 4/5. Pixar style animations are hit or miss. Definately a hit, almost up there with The Incredibles. Revolutionary Road - 3.5/5. Good drama, well acted, bit dull and rather depressing.

There is a great remix of Anger on the Fungkungfusion compilation by Ninjatune that I am playing now.

Their last two have albums IMO have been a bit disappointing but then again, TOTBL was immensely good. There do have one or two great tracks on each though.

Mmmmmm...beer festivals. Is there a good website that lists these things when they happen? I would love to catch one when I'm back in Devon and Oxfordshire in the summer.

My friend and ex-colleague Chris, here in Vegas owns that site.

I'd like to see them experiemnt and play the whole Dead Cities album during the first 45 minutes.

Thanks for that Tim. My tale would be a lot shorter and less interesting so I won't bother. I don't know if it has been better for us expats with the detachment when the going got tough, although it was extremely painful immediately after our relegation from the Prem with no one else around who could empathize. Lucky for me, I will be back in August to see them play again (all things pending Pinnacle). Can't bloody wait! COYRs!

Taken - 2.5/5.9 - Mindless shallow entertainment, watchable but nothing special. Benjamin Button - 1/2 - Saw the first half, fell asleep and can't be arsed to watch the rest. Forrest Gump but backwards. The Sting - 4.5/5.4 - Not seen in a while until last night. Really good fun.

TGU - Dream of 100 Nations. Very pleasing album back from the early nineties.

Eat carefully in the Latin Quarter as it is also home to hoards of crappy tourist traps, but there are plenty of decent places where the natives eat just off the main thoroughfares. Great central location to stay though. We are probably going over for a few days whilst back in England in August...might try the Bastille area to stay for a change.

Moving the subject angle slightly, but is there any other food that changes the smell of your p!ss more than asparagus does? I haven't found it yet.
