Why should it be understandable if the BBc has any political bias? I don't think it is too much to expect them to be politically neutral. What are the reasons for people to buy newspapers, apart from liking what is written and shown in them?

The fact is, people have a choice if they buy the Telegraph, Express, Sun etc, but if they want to own a tv, they have no choice but to subsidise the BBC, regardless of whether they watch it, or if it reflects their views or interests. Newspapers can influence public opinion, but they're also a reflection of the public's views - if people didn't like what they write, they'd buy a different paper.

But your original point was that it is a "myth" in terms on Man Utd having loud support; then it was that they only sing when they're winning; now they're just the same as all other clubs. No-one likes Man Utd, but their away support is one of the best in the country and has been for a long time, no harm in admitting that.
