Skrtel isn't pretty average though, he's one of the PL's better centre backs. I agree Pelle wasn't great yesterday, let his head drop early. Service and support around him didn't help much, if we're going to knock it long to him, we need people in around him quickly.

I thought we were well worth the draw, very much deserved, without creating a massive amount. Soares, Van Dijk and Wanyama all very good for me. I thought the game still passed Clasie by, guess he'll only improve by playing regularly and getting up to speed. Pelle got clattered a few times early on, didn't get anything out of the ref and his head dropped a fair bit after that. Tadic was poor in my eyes and wasteful often. Liverpool a very average side, the media love in with them and Klopp is ridiculous. Three points against Bournemouth and we'll be settling in well to upper mid table.

Definitely a better way to do it. Maybe its seen as a bit censored and controlled, questions from the floor fair and open? Should also maybe have a separate forum for every day moans/suggestions that people want to air to the club, but aren't really relevant to Reed and Kruger.

I'd rather have Federici than Davis as our 2nd choice. You don't judge keepers on a couple of mistakes.

Davis is a poor 2nd choice. But more of a concern is our inability to keep the ball in midfield and control the game at all.

I guess the only good thing about that is Clasie won't get a better taste of the pace, intensity than he did yesterday, good exposure to what will be expected.

Yeah, guess the Man Utd game is comparable, but even that wasn't a par on today in my opinion. I thought the back 4 did well today, wasn't given enough protection when needed, we did seem tired and off the pace.

Exactly my take on it. Our midfield couldn't hold on to the ball for more than a minute, kept on losing it putting our defence under the cosh. Good to see Koeman still doesn't rate our new right back for solid defensive duties.

When was the last time we were as dominated in a 2nd half as that? People may blame Davis, but the fact we couldn't string two passes together in midfield for 45mins is surely more of a concern?

So you cannot envisage a time when half a million new arrivals, circa 350k net would be an issue for the UK? And no-one is suggesting a permanent ban on any key workers, so I'm not sure where that's come from. But at least you're honest enough to admit it's just about being 'one of the gang'.
