Setting up the system? Dealing with issues it inevitably throws up?
-
So the club should go to the effort and hassle for free?
-
I don't see anything wrong with it at all. What would you do differently? Seems a better option than Stub Hub etc that is used at other clubs. If this scheme doesn't last long it'll be due to the fact that demand for spare tickets isn't that high week in, week out. On another note, good going selling out inc block 43 so quickly.

Wanyama and the St.Marys crowd ...boo or cheer ?

If not Spurs, where? -
True? You've stated a different point to the one I've made. Do you think a successful UK economy is dependent on UK political union with the EU?
-
Would we have gone to USA/Canada if we didn't have the early Europa League rounds this year? I guess we could have still accommodated 5 days over there based on our time in Austria/Holland anyway. The problem is, unless you're one of the big teams, is there even that much potential for making money over there? Generating £millions? How many tickets/shirts would we have to sell to make it worthwhile? Plus the USA's own "Soccer" is taking off more and more, not sure if that makes it more or less likely for someone over there to want to spend money on stuff associated with an English side. I think Japan might be a bit of a better shout, doesn't seem as saturated for visiting English teams as Thailand/USA?

But in practice it's the same as trading with any other very large nations. I guess that's what it boils down to though, some believe we're dependent on political union with Europe for a successful economy, others don't.
-
I haven't said we'd "keep all the good stuff". We may well lose some business and trade with the EU countries. But I don't believe there would be significant changes. I believe we'll continue to be a successful, prosperous nation. Trade with EU nations won't stop.
-
But how is that any different to trading with the USA, China or India in practice? What, in practice, do you think will happen to the UK economy if we were to leave the EU?
-
That doesn't explain how it's different to us trading with any other nation.
-
So what do you think would happen to our exports and economy in general if we were to leave the EU?
-
Why do we need different access to their market then we do for anywhere else in the world?
-
So if we're not part of the single market, we won't have to sign up to free movement of people as Switzerland have?

Michael Owen: I am Southampton in racehorse owning terms

How Michael Owen gets work as a pundit, I'll never know. -
Why would we have to do the same? Different countries, different process, you're not comparing like with like, unless they've all just voted to leave the EU.
-
So you don't know, fair enough.
-
And you're just an overwhelming, non-stop flow of positivity yourself.....
-
Why would they easily move those plants to the EU if we leave?

According to this the Vibrac loan has been replaced by one from Macquarie? http://m.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/13835835._Southampton_have_reinvested_everything_from_player_sales____Rogers/

You need to remember who you're debating with here. People that are adamant the UK must be in a political union with Europe in order to be successful, a belief that we are reliant on this union for a healthy, developed economy.
-
Do you think private individuals that put their savings into ISAs are "morally ambiguous"?
-
You never get to vote for EU commissioners full-stop.

If they're going through the effort of moving/buying abroad, they can probably manage a bit more cost/effort. Most of these ex-pats are comfortably off and in good health anyway.
