  1. I would never want clappers or a drum. Noise for noise sake. Atmosphere is made by people making a bit of noise to get behind their team. It's not complicated or in need of fads.
  2. Only the handful of seats in 43 that are always on sale to home fans, the rest of the block is United as usual.
  3. Ww would have given United the full allocation?
  4. What's your point then?
  5. Not going to help him get tickets though.
  6. I reckon we'll try and get him back quickly. He was obviously involved in some kind of training with the squad last week. Will be interesting to see if he plays in the u21s game tomorrow.
  7. Are you having a laugh? We were alright yesterday, still lacking creativity, but otherwise fine.
  8. What site is that from?
  9. Plenty of fans moaning all game, ridiculous. On top of singing about players that don't play for us anymore (Lambert), weren't playing at the time (Mane), didn't want to play for us two weeks ago (Wanyama).
  10. Who came up with the title of this thread?
  11. I'd love it to be the end of the Labour Party but it's not. He's rejuvenated their core support, brought in younger activists and engaged a lot of their support. Given Labour a great chance to get it all out of their system, play far left politics for a couple of years and feel great about themselves. What will happen in the next general election will probably be something quite different.
  12. That'd be my team, but with Bertrand in at left back.
  13. And I thought the Targett challenge was a definite pen first half, so bit of luck there.
  14. We bossed the game against a team that are no mugs. Van Dijk looked quality. Any point away from home is decent, they'll beat plenty of teams there this season, same as Watford. We still lack creativity going forward, same problem we had a lot last season. I disagree with the decision to drop Romeu for Wanyama, sends a poor message. I'd have started with Mane, if he was knackered, take him off after 65mins.
  15. Unless he's a disruptive influence, I don't see the point of this. How much money is it really going to save us? He's good enough to be a useful squad member. Unless his attitude/focus for us has completely gone by now.
  16. Is that right? Why wouldn't he be back in training by now and available for tomorrow?
  17. Newcastle we didn't subsidise. That game has happened, so too late now. How many fans aren't going to go to Sunderland due to match ticket prices? Chelsea is a game that we could easily take thousands, but won't, simply due to ticket prices.
  18. We're allowed to use it for more than one game
  19. The problem is, protesting with our feet doesn't necessarily work for games like this - Chelsea can easily sell additional tickets to their tourist market, so they don't lose out and its an easier life for them managing some football tourists than a few thousand away fans. What will happen is, away support, and with it a decent atmosphere, will slowly be killed off and English football will be a lot poorer for it.
  20. We should be using the away funds for this sort of game, would very easily have sold the full allocation even at say £35 a pop.
  21. I wasn't disagreeing, just querying, there's not a football fan that doesn't agree with the overall principle of the campaign.
  22. But the comparison to Swansea would be for Saints to make changes, not Chelsea?
  23. Is £20 a realistic figure for Premier League football in 2015? Catchy slogan. Chelsea aren't going to be bothered by banners in the away end, it'd have to come from the FA, still can't see them doing anything. Slightly separate point, but Saints should be using their away fund for games like this.
  24. I do like Kruger, cracks me up every time he does one of his talks.
  25. Do you actually believe that?
