'The best coached team in the league by miles..'

Well they're wrong there I reckon. It's a bit more creativity from our three behind the striker that we need to step up a level. -

Anyone able to stick it on Youtube? Does it get repeated at all? -
No, you're saying that expensive foreign players get more stick than British ones. We haven't signed any expensive British players, so what are you comparing to? Nothing. Lallana came in for plenty of stick last season when he was under-performing, and he was a "free" through the academy. Look at Danny Fox, hardly an expensive foreign signing.

Being cynical about South Americans settling in English football (I don't agree with that point for what it's worth), is compltely different to the suggestion that fans get on players backs because they are foreign. Plenty of foreign players have been ridiculously well received at the club, even many with fairly average ability.

Expectations will always be high for any player signed for a high fee, for the obvious reasons. That would apply to a player either English or Foreign. None of this "foreign, so not trusted" s***e you've come out with.
-
We might be, but unlikely it'll be sizeable relative to a decent sized transfer fee.
-
Don't think too many thought that it was an outrage or an awful decision, just a bit strange that we got rid of an attacking option, without bringing in a replacement or getting a sizeable fee.
-
Certainly not going to write him off, but he needs to contribute a bit more. If you compare him to Lambert last season in terms of goals scored, assists, link-up play, Osvlado needs to give us a bit more.
-
I think he'd tick most of the boxes, just depends if he'd move south or not.

There is an argument for adding pace in the final third, but also an argument for just adding out and out creativity, someone that can play the No.10 role, but also join in the high pressing significantly. How many players out there can do that? And would be available in January?

Great article all told. Don't know how many Yanks will read the whole thing though!

Which games did this happen in?
-
The Alex, Infernos, Dorchester, Royal Oak, Kellys.

Famous Three Kings your best shout I guess.

Most likely is 89/90 season surely?
-
It's a fair old hike, but yeah you should make the 18.15.

Someone told me the other day that Man UTd are following Liverpool's example (the best model for this), but are knocking £4 off each away ticket bought by their fans this year - fair play to them for that!

WHo knows, I'd assumed that every "new" fixture would have to be signed off by local plod and that was one of the reasons why it took a little while to confirm the original date. -

Then why announce a particular date, sell match tickets etc for it. Somewhere along the line basic communication and common sense between the various parties has gone out of the window. -

I've already written to the football league, more out of principle than anything else, I'm under no illusions about the likelihood of getting anything back. -

They've know that is the case since the draw was made nearly a month ago, was no reason why this game couldn't have been moved a week either way after the original draw, rather than wait until less than two weeks before the game. Proper p**s taking c**ts! -
Queues will be even worse after a Saturday 3pm kick off. Would need to leave the game early to make a 6.00pm train, or get very lucky with a taxi.
