Exactly this. Not Puel's fault he doesn't have the players.

Cheers for posting that link, f*****g hilarious. And seems a fair few don't think VVD is good enough for them anyway

Everton helping to put our Chelsea result into context.

Sam McQueen - like an F1 tyre change ....

I wonder if there'll soon be a new contract offer on the table for him. -
The ref was s**t though, how Candreva got away with that I'll never know.

From block 3 - 38, from 0mins to 65mins, it weren't great. All about levels of expectation. At least Inter brought some actual proper support, better than expected from them.

Liverpool at home earlier this year?

Can you never recall such noise at a game previously?

I know you struggle to post your own opinions, but what did you think?

Cracking win and result, but everything up to 70mins was s**t, atmosphere, performance, energy, creativity from us. Half decent Inter turn out helped make it a bit of an occasion. We got away with it, but why the f**k did we rest players for tonight instead of Hull.

Good point, that definitely fits http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?57094-Katarina-meeting-with-Asian-personnel&highlight=chinese#.WBoV8Y_XLIU

Would be a "no" from me, can't get much better owners than we currently have. But they were never going to own us for ever, this was always on the horizon sooner or later I guess.

Now have injuries s our lack of depth starting to show?

Agreed. If anything, yesterday showed the problem that our first choice 11 is a bit weaker than it has been previously, not that at our overall squad is weaker. -
Agreed, we don't play the early ball often enough. Austin made plenty of runs in the first half without it getting played through to him.
-
Agree with most of that. Few negatives from our performance; Forster regularly spilling shots. We lacked creativity and cutting edge. Austin is a great finisher and worked bloody hard, but can't offer a whole lot more. Was Bertrand fully match fit? Quiet support from us. Think the way Chelsea set up was a compliment to us, but it definitely worked and shut us down. We seem to have one or two results like that a season, a good reminder on the importance of getting other fixtures to count.

6k allocation for Arsenal at dirt cheap prices. No complaints there. -
Well post that to aintforever, as its his point you're disagreeing with.

People do get worked up about them, free movement of people within the EU has been a huge issue of discussion over the last year or so.

Has McQueen jumped ahead of Targett in the pecking order at left back? Be interesting to see how Puel plays it if all three are fit for a long stretch. -
Interesting Opta Stat. We've gained two more Premier League points than Man City across 2016 calendar year so far.

Why not analyse the game, say who played well and who didn't, what was good and what was bad?
