I'm not personally bothered about going on the pitch, too much effort, but back in the late 80s, early 90s there were regular end of season pitch invasions, regardless of how the season finished, so it can hardly be described as a "Sky Generation" thing.

We've finished lower mid-table in the Prem once before in the last ten years, can't be described as being used to anything with that lack of regularity.

I doubt each club's arrangements are "all very different". Some will vary, but there will be some that are comparable.

Probably those two, but that highlights that sort of money is the exception rather than the rule.

Because I think the average annual pay for a Chief Execs in this country is a bit over £200k, taking into consideration the people employed in these roles in most PL clubs I can't see them being on a massive amount more than that.

The one thing that has always stood out for me and why I'll always struggle to view NC in the same light many other fans do.

Doubt most are on a package close to £2m a year though.

On the basis that Lampard and Gerrard played in teams not as good as Scholes, you'd expect their stats to for goals, assists and tackles to be a lot worse than Scholes?

It has had a few small reports, but it's not a big story for the rest of the footballing world and there are plenty of bigger ones out there at the moment.
