Are the ends more important than the means to you?

Plenty of clubs are able to survive and compete in the Prem without shed loads of spending - why is the only alternative plummeting down the leagues? -

Lallana and JWP won't have too much of a part in delivering European football for us I'm afraid. -
I agree with all of that. Just saying the increased TV revenues will not make any difference, as in many ways the club isn't any better off, as all our competitors are getting the same/similar increase in income.
-
I wouldn't be "happy" to pay anymore, but its basic market forces - the club will chrge whatever it thinks people will pay, just because the club is getting more tv money, so are all other clubs.
-
when did Boruc say that? Not seen this quote.
-
What mark would you give Lambert out of interest?
-
A goal every three games is a good return. What sort of price would we be looking at? Circa £5m?
-
Very over rated ground, main stand is good, rest of it is like Colchester. Didn't think the atmosphere was very good for that Palace game, didn't they hand out those plastic clapper things? Can you imagine them being given out if we played the Skates in such a game.
-
Where did you hear that if you don't mind me asking?
-
You're right, but I think demand is probably higher now than ever, will know more when we see what is atually being offered in terms of prices and buying windows.
-
The cynical sie of me thinks it'll be about trying to cash in on Cortese's/the club's announcement at the end of last week.

Who is promoting "kick and run" football? I can't remember anyone slagging off Lallana when he started. Rodriguez has still been hit and miss. Pochettino has left Ramirez on the bench, as did Adkins at times, I take it they are both "football illiterate kick and run merchants"?
-
Our form hasn't changed since he was suspended. He wasn't playing much anyway.
-
Well one of them would have to be on the bench and I can't see either being happy with that at the stage of their careers.
-
His name is Brett and he lives in Camden!
-
Heard a couple of rumours of Spain, but very much rumours rather than ITK. I'm expecting Switzerland again unfortunately.
-
Would still be strange that a player that played in the Champs League Quater finals would be happy sat on our bench for the majority of the season. Would be great to get him in, just looks like it'd be difficult to keep him and Clyne happy.

I'd agree with all of that. -

So you think our season has been incredible? Fair enough, we all have our own take on things. -

How come we were above them all of last season then? -
Somewhere in that article there is an interesting point about the shift in internal club politics - too late to really work it out now.
-
I didn't hear half of those. Plenty of Michael Owen stuff. Still no explanation why. Weird.

No it's not. West Ham finished 4 places above us. -

Interesting stats. Plenty of fairly lacklustre performances in the last 4 months. -
Was also sung during the game and at the end of the match, so I make that three times at least. How many times was Jay Rodrgiuez's song sang? Or Luke Shaw's?
