Partly depends on how they define "value" in this instance.

Which ones?

Which tabloid headings are these?

If our expectations for the 2013/14 season were "just to survive" what are they now? I think our expectations for the 2013/14 season are a lot more than just surviving. As they were for this season 2012/13. Hope it's not getting too confusing for you.

Take out Cleverley and Chamberlain, add in Britton and Dyer and you've improved that squad in my opinion.
-
Not one player from the excellent Swansea side either.
-
Now its every player who would consider their future

I'm waiting to hear what Johnno Quick's take is on the situation before I make up my mind any further. -
So on the basis most fans expected to get promoted from League One in 2011, we shouldn't have had a pitch invasion then? Doesn't make sense. Idon't care if there is one or not and I'm not expecting one, but some of the reasoning on here is quite funny.

It is the same though. Either he is the vision and nothing can go forward without him or its not. And nothing as been "voluntarily destroyed" bit over the top with the choice of words there.

That's what annoys me about MP's statement. Yes NC is important, but what if he was hit by a bus tomorrow? Would MP etc just clear their desks and be on the first plane back to Spain the next day?
-
It's not.
-
The other players didn't seem to have a problem with it. I think fair play to him, makes me laugh, can tell despite being a knob he loves being involved in football and the buzz of winning.

Breaking news sky sports - Pochettino will leave if NC quits

Agree. -
Don't think the transfer window opens on the 1st of July? Agree though that everyone is reading too much into this.
-
For what it's worth, I expect both NC and MP to stay.
-
While trying to tell us about Ekelund despite never having seen him play, oh but he looked up the stats. What a joker.
-
Who are you to say "off you go" to any of our fans, when you were embarrasing yourself with your lack of knowledge of Saints history yesterday. Why don't you support one your Swedish sides, off you go.

Dave Merrington? Alan Ball?

I'd expect plenty of managers would, those who know and respect the club's history and would feel proud to be employed by the football club. Regardless, it's a weird old turn out that we've got our Chairman saying "Oh, I'm going to leave if this happens' and our First Team Manager saying "Oh and I'll leave if that happens', can't imagine that being acceptable at most clubs.
-
How much did we get for Chamberlain after one season in League One? Personally I'd expect £20m for him. Wouldn't be beyond the realms of relity for Arsenal to have a go at that value, they have the money and the need for such a player.

Agree with pretty much all that, good summary. Liverpool was officially a sell out, but we didn't take the full allocation. Seems like our support won't pay the silly prices charged by the likes of Man City and Chelsea which is a good thing. On the basis we have a similar season next year, our support will drop off, but it'll still be a lot better than it was 10/15 years ago - think a lot of the younger generation have got the bug of doing away days regularly.
-
Has this season not been a proper achievement in your eyes?
-
There's not going to be a pitch invasion anyway, so you've all got nothing to worry about.
-
As a general rule, the more money a club has to spend, the better it does.
-
By the sound of it you never saw Ekelund play and are just relying on stats. He was excellent for us, but had an issue with his back and couldn't agree with the club the best way to manage it.
