I don't think it is an English team that the finger is being pointed at, just that one game played in this country is thought to have been affected - so that could be a ref, linesman, oppossition keeper, even the opposition kitman giving out team news, who knows. Can't see any big names from this country being caught up in this.

It's a mixed bag from what I know. Some do bit of both, some just do FC United, some United hate the idea of "FC" and wouldn't have anything to do with it. Think they've got a new 5k ground to be built soon. Not going to change the world, but fair play to them for trying to do something.

I don't think the O/P is right and not just because of the 58k figure. Why would you invest in a project that size just on the basis that we "consolidate" next season. If whoever behind this idea genuinely believes in it, then it should be started asap, as the nature of football, there is always the chance we could drop down, be relegated etc again at pretty much any point, so surely you don't base it on how the team performs for one season?

Encouragement? This forum isn't where players go to for encouragement is it? "Barely 21 y.o"? As in he's 22 years old you mean? No-one is saying that the lad doesn't have ability, but there is a clear and worrying pattern with his form away from home, you expect no-one to mention that. I'm not sure the examples of Torres or Carroll really help your point either.

'Get over it' ha, this is a Saints forum, we're discussing how one of our players performed. No-one is saying he's s**t or doesn't have talent, but are highlighting the fact he can't seem to perform away from home. For our record signing, that is disappointing.

So you don't think we should discuss why our record signing, touted as one of the best young players in Europe, can't seem to play away from home? Surely thats worthy of comment?

He's not been one of our best players this season, deal with that fact in any way you find easiest.
