Spurs are easily 6th, have always been a big team.
-
Sturridge has looked class for them. Their problems stem back to King Kenny's reign and the well documented over-spenidng he oversaw.
-
Looking around the ground of another club, regardless of how good their team is, isn't going to make any difference to the performance of established Premier League players who are already playing at Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford week in, week out. Nice way to spend a morning off I though.
-
Why is it team building? What will doing a tourist tour of the ground do to change anything. Nothing wrong with looking at the best practices of the very top clubs and trying to implement them at our level. Don't need a tour for that.
-
Do you not think Villa are a bigger club than Saints?
-
Exactly. This squad is playing at Old Trafford in a couple of days, played at Stamford Bridge last week, plenty have played at Wembley, not sure what they'll get out of this tourist experience. Will they be going to that room outside later with the big screen where you put on the 3D glasses for the "full Barcelona Experience"? Then down Las Ramblas for a few beers, before taking in a game at the weekend?
-
Yep, found it boring like most stadium tours, so god knows what experienced Premier League footballers make of it.
-
I fully expect to get beaten, but there is no reason Man Utd should be fresher than us.

Quite. Can also add a large chunk of 08/09 season to that, be it home or away, big ground or small. I think we all know those that do such games are loyal, so it's a bit of a silly debate. -

Take out Carlisle away and replace it with Stockport at home then. -

Very well summed up. It's what the thread was all about before DPS's trolling about loyal fans. -

This forum is always good for a chuckle, you couldn't make it up. -

You're trolling. The issue doesn't even seem to affect you, but you're trying to say that Saints fans that supported us in League One aren't loyal. I'm not throwing insults, it's fairly ammusing and a decent effort at a wind-up. -

Because you're saying they're "not loyal". Any why does it even interest you or affect you? Apart from an opportunity for some attention and trolling. -
Probably only cost the club a couple of million all told, nothing to really worry about.

If you want to pretend they're not loyal that's up to you. I think we all know the truth in reality though. Happy trolling. -

Not if I also went in League 1, the Championship etc. And that's based on the premise I still go. £700 a season ticket? Who knows. -
Is our Japanese twitter account still going?

Yes some will stay and pay whatever regardless of what happens. But some will gradually drift away to be replaced Premier League fans, which comes back to my original post on this thread. -

Correct you're not a loyal fan, hardly ever go and therefore really shouldn't be commenting on the loyalty of those that do go to games. -

I wouldn't agree that the only real protest is to stay away, but you're right it is the strongest of "protests", also one that is tough for many fans. Will we all spend £700 on season ticket next year? Maybe, maybe not. -

The irony is, the people saying on here "Just suck it up and don't complain" never seem to go to games themselves. -
