deluded. We're still one of the smallest teams in the league, we're joint favourites to go down. We aren't going to buy players like Puyol/Sneijder/Van Persie etc.

Beram Kayal - £5m - from Celtic (linked in Telegraph)
supersonic replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Kayal is quality, doesn't shy away from a tackle, can pass the ball, good engine, wasted in the scottish league -
They racked up millions of pounds worth of debt, and got away with it once. They then adopted the same strategy and expect people to feel sorry for them again. As much as I agree a club needs it's rivals, the law is the law, and they need to be taught a lesson. They need to be liquidated/sent down to BSS (at highest). It's not fair on the fans who have done nothing to contribute to this, but that's the world we live in. If it was you or I that owned our own business and we racked up thousands of pounds worth of debt we couldn't pay, we'd be shut down. The skates keep going on about how the "fit and proper" test failed them. It looks only for previous of Fraud, Embezzlment etc, not how the person intends to run the club or how much money they are willing to invest. I have absolutely no sympathy for the football club.

My point exactly, just because someone has been relegated, doesn't make him a bad player, it means he played in a **** poor team (which Dann did in Birmingham and Blackburn) -

Guiseppe Rossi is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in Europe, would people turn their nose up to him? (As far as I know he's not linked to saints, it's just an example) -
If a homeless tramp is worth £7m to Man United, Lens is worth that much
-
Steven Fletcher, Paul Robinson, Junior Hoilett, Yakubu, Martin Olssen, Matt Jarvis all got relegated, are they bad players? No. Just because someone has been relegated doesn't make them bad, it makes the team they played in bad. Dann was decent when he played alongside Samba, then Blackburn fell apart

I remember a similar thread on Reading at the end of last season. The only team we have a rivalry with is the fishy lot down the road. Brighton/Reading/Bournemouth (+any others) are just smaller clubs wanting to start something with us. Bournemouth and Brighton were one hit wonders, and Reading, well, in a town where the majority of people support other teams, just about says it all

I'd rather Dann than Johnson, the latter is complete toilet and his missus rightly got put in her place on twitter -

I think we could see Saint Armstrong's idea, with Punch/Lallana instead of Jrod and Lee. Perhaps Guly instead of Punch. We seem to be lucky as we have a number of players who can play several positions. Even Chappers could fit in -

so you'd go 4-3-3 away to Chelsea/Man city/Man United? -

I think JRod will be used instead of Lambert, he's more of a target man, Rickie comes too deep to play up front on his own away from home. and fwiw, they were the first players that came into my head at that point -

I have a feeling we may be seeing Clyne deployed as a right sided midfielder, especially away from home. I think it's the same ideology behind trying to sign Buttner - having wide players who can defend well to support the fullbacks. away team could look like this. -----------------Davis-------------------- Richardson---Fonte---Hooiveld--Fox Cylne----Cork-----Davis-------Buttner ---------------Lallana-------------------- ---------------Rodriguez---------------- -
mine too! would be a jolly good day if this happened

would make sense, he supported Liverpool as a kid -
Lloyd Sam (ex-Charlton & Leeds: Premier League experience) Mustapha Dumbuya (Ex- Palace & Doncaster: Championship experience) Jon Harley (Ex-Chelsea & Fulham: over 50 Premier League games) Simon Gillett (Ex-Saints & Doncaster: Over 50 Championship games) Brian Howard (Ex-Saints & Barnsley: Over 150 Championship games) Julien Lopez (Ex-Montpellier & Algeria Under 21 International) Luke Rodgers (Ex-New York RedBulls & Notts County: MLS playing with Henry) Izale McLeod (Ex-Derby & Charlton: Over 50 Championship games) In total, 10 have played professional football That side just got stuffed 4-0 by a bunch of amateurs!!

No wonder Kanu is on strike!

There is absolutely no rivalry between Us and Brighton/Reading. Both teams are jealous of us. I personally couldn't care one iota what goes in at either club, unlike most of them who seem to be obsessed with us
-
why is it nonsense?

What more do you expect from a right-leaning paper. Completely out of touch with the time
-
1) Go to Google Translate, 2) Type in 'Mario Mandzukic' 3) Translate it from Croatian to English

There could be 1 or 2 trialists playing too. It's a shame Winchester sold ex-Saint Jaime White to Sailsbury, would be good to see him in action, he scored goals for fun last season

Tonight 7pm. Anyone going? May pop down and have a look, £9 for adults
-
He doesn't look very committed, I wonder how many times he uses the word "like" or refers to the club as "they"

This is the most ridiculous thread I've ever seen in my life. Saint86, what a bellend you are. The lad is 17, it's probably his first ever interview like that and fwiw when he said "they do that well here" do you not think he was referring to the management?
