  1. read the information. The nixon guy just keeps saying "you are confident" whereas the quotes from Italy talk with knowledge
  2. why are people still clinging onto tweets from a mirror journalist who dodges questions when asked? Numerous sources in Italy have said this, `deal is off, which it most probably is, let's more on and focus on getting a CB and Phillips
  3. I think that's called clutching at straws
  4. Can we finally close this thread please
  5. Ramirez won't be joining Saints. Let's stop all this bed wetting and move on
  6. You just get the feeling that this whole deal seemed a bit too good to be true. Sounds like the deal is off
  7. It was first put on twitter by Hugo Schneker (spelling) who, by the sounds of it, is an American student who spent a few weeks with the Academy this summer in some sort of role.
  8. IMHO I don't think we'll get Ramirez. I can't wait to see the meltdown on here when Sibley tweets that there's a transfer in 5 mins and then it's Phillips or the American keeper
  9. If we want him that much we'll pay the money.
  10. Ok well if it helps, I would be interested in one adult ticket
  11. Lambert/Lallana can't be on much less than that
  12. All sounds very promising, £3m more and extra pay ons isn't overly a deal breaker you'd think
  13. Would you be interested in selling just 1 adult ticket? If so, how much?
  14. Hammond is nowhere near good enough for this league, and depending on how bad Cork's injury is, that still leaves us Davis/Schneiderlin/Chaplow(seems out of favour)/JWP(only 17) I agree a CM isn't priority, but Biglia is a class above what we already have. Plus I believe he can fill in a CB if needed (As can Cork)
  15. We played well, and we did much better than most people expected us to. however... We are still making silly mistakes at the back, our marking needs to be improved as does our decision making. We may have been able to get a way with some of those mistakes last year, but we won't this year. If we don't sort the defence out we'll be going straight back down. But I was pleased with how "The fat bloke who is no better than league 1 standard" smashed one in past England (and one of the top 3 keepers in the world) Joe Hart. JWP was superb and already looks better than Hammond
  16. From what i've seen and read, sticky point is how much we put down as an initial fee. Reports in Italy say we are offering €7m-8m upfront but bologna want €10m+
  17. 5-0 defeat
  18. According to reports in Italy, he was in the stands for their game today, but refused to answer any questions on his future http://www.goal.com/it/news/7/calciomercato/2012/08/18/3316148/bologna-in-coppa-attenzioni-della-curva-tutte-per-ramirez
  19. Guly, Richardson, Cork all "dropped" out of first XI numbers Barnard/Dickson left out too..
  20. No numbers 3 or 10. Makes sense to the Ramirez rumours
  21. Bologna only "own" 70% of him, Penarol still own 30%
  22. Article in Gazzetta Del Sport says we need to get the "o.k" from his previous club, Penarol
  23. Matt Phillips has as many International caps as Jarvis....
  24. I still find it unbelievable that a town that hosts one of the biggest, and most famous music festivals, fails to produce any level of noise at their home football matches. The club are an embarrassment, going along with what previous posters have said, I went to school in Reading, and my last year was the year that they romped to the championship title. My year was full of Manure, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea etc fans, with a few Reading fans, but at xmas (when reading were like 20 points clear) they all suddenly became Reading fans. I found it hilarious. The fact that the majority of people in Reading don't support the team shows you exactly what type of club they are.
