This build up has has been nauseating, christ.

No issue with Ballard not coming on yesterday given we were shite for that final 30 mins at 2-1, I’m pretty sure if the score stayed at 2-0 he would’ve got some minutes but when hanging on against a lower league team, it probably isn’t the best time to bring on a 17 year old. As alluded to above, if he was brought on and fucked up and it ended 2-2 again, fans would likely be screaming asking why didn’t we bring on a more experienced player. Get the feeling some of our fans (Twitter is far worse than here!) just want to scream and use it as another stick to beat Jones with atm (and also use for justification as why JJ Morgan wants to leave). It wasn’t pretty for the final phases, but we are through and that’s the main thing - we really do need a couple more signings though! 😬

Much better second half, actually played some decent stuff at times. Edozie definitely needs to work on his end product!

Haha, to be fair with Jones’ talk about more experience, this does tick a box in that regard.

To be honest I don’t think there is a manager out there (that we could conceivably get) that could get a tune out of the pathetic bunch of players we have that are our ‘squad’. Ralph over performed with these players and SR have fucked us with their gambling in the Summer. Evidenced by our over reliance on an 18 year old in Midfield, the fact we are STILL playing wastes of space including Moi and Djenepo… and it looks like we will be back with McCarthy between the sticks again when he is fit. On the players and the Board / Owners for me.

Fucking disgraceful performance. Bazunu, Diallo, AMN, JWP (currently), Djenepo, Moi, A.Armstrong all nowhere near good enough. Midfield and Attack are huge problem areas. Holes and pathetic passengers everywhere. SR need to pull their fucking heads out of their arses in January and stop dicking around as at the moment we are going down and staying down as we deserve.

AMN and A.Armstrong I don’t want to see anywhere near the starting 11 ever again… if we try play 5 at the back again I will just give up, good god - that was a tough watch. As others have said, the less said about those two sitters at the end, the better. 😫 Only positives were Edozie / Stu and the change to 4 at the back turning us into something slightly more threatening.
