  1. and Stakhovsky's a break up in the 4th
  2. Federer has just gone 2-1 down in sets to a Ukrainian guy called Stakhovsky. Looks like Murray's year. Sharapova and Ivanovic both went out today
  3. Ah yes was this the 'Lord Lowe' chap? The funniest thing about Scooby was that he was allowed to blatantly troll on here for months and months and months, and only went away permanently when a number of posters on here (I think Hypo was one) outed his real identity.
  4. Fiji aren't in this tournament
  5. Ramirez starts
  6. Spain 8-0 up after 77 mins and Torres blasts a penalty over the bar. Torres then scores 60 seconds later, the Tahitian high line is suicidal
  7. Funnily enough Nagatomo was the only Inter Milan player on the pitch. It was a brilliant game and Japan would have won it if they hadn't gifted Italy two of their goals. Maya what were you thinking? Italy's 4th came straight from a Japanese defender giving it away from his own area as well. But it shows just how far Japan have come though, they have some top class players Meanwhile Spain-Tahiti tonight. . . I'm predicting 13-0
  8. Brazil 2-0 Mexico FT Neymar with one cracking goal and one cracking assist. Ex-Man City striker Jo has 2 goals in 2 sub appearances. Italy-Japan up next
  9. Current record is Australia 31-0 American Samoa. I can see Spain putting past 10-15 past Tahiti but don't think it will get up to that level. Out of all the Pacific Islands Tahiti are one of the better teams, in their first game of the 2012 Oceania Nations Cup Tahiti actually put 10 past Samoa (who are about the same level as American Samoa)
  10. 3-0 at HT First goal was a ridiculous deflection off the ref that landed kindly to a Nigerian whose shot then took a ridiculous double deflection off 2 defenders and wrong footed the keeper. 2nd goal - defensive howler 3rd goal - goalkeeping howler Have to say going forward they've looked very good, they've carved the Nigerians open a few times and could have easily had a couple of goals. Defensively they've been naive but that Chong Hue looks a handful.
  11. Judging by how Spain played last night that could be carnage. Tahiti are playing Nigeria tonight so we'll get an indication of where their at
  12. 9 mins in and Spain have had 92% of the possession
  13. 1-1 Hernandez penalty
  14. Sorry just noticed the thread in the general sports section
  15. We've got Gaston Ramirez and Maya Yoshida playing for Uruguay and Japan respectively. Yoshida has just started for Japan against Brazil it's live on BBC3 now. Brazil 1-0 up after 3 mins - Neymar with a 20 yard volley.

  17. Found out a little more info. It's a 56 reg Golf that he's taken to a VW dealer, and apparently the steering wheel sensor is now also failing as well. Myself and a couple of other people are suggesting he gets a second opinion
  18. A friend of mine recently took his Golf into a garage as the cruise control developed a fault, and they've quoted him a tad under 300 quid to replace the switch, saying the centre console and airbag need to come out for the repair to happen. They've then told him he may need a new steering column as well and if so it'll take the total bill to over a £1k I'm not sure on the age of the Golf but I think it's fairly new Does this sound reasonable price-wise to any mechanics on here?
  19. If he's a good player that's the best thing Oliver Lancashire has done for us
  20. Hm quite, He did also have the option of showing his support for Help For Heroes in a way which didn't contravene the dress code
  21. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-22689008 Anyone else think Morrisons are right? Considering the lad's duties involve the preparation of fresh food and the fact that he has every right to express his support for Help For Heroes that doesn't fall foul of the company dress code. All it would take is for the badge to break and part of the pin dropping into food he's preparing or leaning over on the shop floor and you've potentially got a serious lawsuit, that's why the rules are there in the first place and he should know them.
