According to some in the media this is the worst Australian team to tour the U.K. Well I say thank gawd for that then as heaven help England if Australia were a strong team. Actually I bet the England team never ever under estimate the Australians. Only an idiot would do that and lets face it some media aren't the brightest are they ?

Sorry to say WSS but I have spoken to the grandfather and it is genuine.

Just seen this on another website, as it happened in the UK I thought I would post it here. This little girl is NOT my grandchild but here is "her" story quite scary and don't forget this disease can be caught by all ages. Please share the word that chicken pox is not something to take lightly" https://www.facebook.com/pages/Libbies-Page/521044187938115 What happened written by Libbie aged 3, with the help of her mum Hello, my name is Libbie Faye Handley (aged 3) and this is my story At Christmas 2012 just after we had been to Euro Disney, my big sister Tialer got chicken pox. The 5th January 2013 was my 3rd birthday which as I had been to Disney before Christmas, I didn't have a party but went out with my mummy, sister, grandma, uncle Biggz, Suzanne and baby Bella. I had lots of fun. The week after I too got chicken pox but also a high temperature so mummy took me to the Drs and then to Tameside hospital near where I live. They kept me in as they thought I might have meningitis too. The next morning I couldn't breathe, so the North West and North Wales Transports Service (NWTS) kept me breathing and took me to the Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital (RMCH) Intensive Care Unit (ICU). I was getting more sick and turned blue so they had me baptised here in ICU. It was then decided by the Lead consultant of the NWTS team and the RMCH Drs that I was too sick to be treated here as they hadn't the equipment, so I needed to go to Alder Hey Childrens Hospital (AHCH) ICU in Liverpool. Again NWTS organised the transfer and prepared me for the journey that would save my life and also prepare me for the treatment I would receive. I have a nickname at NWTS ..."ECMO LIbbie" :-) As soon as I arrived at AHCH, I had a cardiac arrest and I was very poorly and still blue. They put me on an Ecmo machine (that acted as my heart and lungs and put oxygen into my blood) and dialysis (that acted as my kidneys and cleaned all the toxins out) as my body had totally shut down, then put me in an induced coma and put lots of antibiotics into me as I had Strep A and Septicaemia. Things didnt look very good for me but the Drs and nurses looked after me 24 hours a day, changing equipment and drugs to keep me alive. On day 7 I was taken off dialysis and on day 8 taken off Ecmo but kept in a coma and on ventilation as I had lots of ulcers inside my mouth and they wanted them to get better first. On day 11 I was taken off sedation and ventilation but I was twitching and hallucinating - I didnt like bits like dried skin or plaster marks on anything and anyone, and I wanted to pull them off. My mummy says I have OCD because I still don't like them. I had a brain scan and mummy was told little things might not work. I couldn't talk because my throat was sore with the tubes. I then moved to a general ward (E3) and had my own room. I still had lots of Drs and nurses coming and physio every day. I started eating and then talking and then walking on my wobbly legs. They were very happy and were going to discharge me, but then I got a rash which they thought was Measles so I was put into isolation for 5 days and onto more antibiotics. On Tuesday 12th February (Pancake Day), i was allowed out of my room and told I could go out of the hospital for a few hours. Grandad Bob brought Tialer, mummy got me ready and we went to Ronald McDonald (where mummy was staying) and grandma made pancakes. I was happy, but sad when "my Tialer" had to go home :-(. On Thursday 14th February I was allowed to go home. I made a very fast recovery and the Drs and nurses called me the "Miracle" baby. All these divisions of the NHS helped save my life and the three hospitals get lots of monies from charities, so my family have decided to help raise money for NWTS. They had never heard of NWTS, but they were set up in November 2010 and made up of a dedicated team of Intensive Care paediatricians, doctors and nurses who transport critically ill children throughout the North West and North Wales to specialist hospitals like AHCH and RMCH, 24 hours a day 7 days a week with another team (made up of Consultants, Drs, Nurses from the 2 hospitals) for support. These dedicated people along with the three hospitals I attended saved my life and me and my family will always be very grateful to them that they did. This part of our NHS service is still new and there are things they still require and me and my family want to help, as without them I probably wouldnt be writing this (well my grandma Jean wouldn't :-) ), and we want you to help too. So my grandma Jeans friend Leanne has set a goal to swim 400 lengths of a standard 25m pool in order to raise money to help them buy some more equipment, like breathing machines and manikins (for training), and we would like you to help us by sponsoring her. Also if you want to raise money to help them by doing an event then please use this page to donate and I will add it. I haven't set a goal to reach, but every penny we raise will help provide equipment or training that will save the life of a child like me. My grandma and granddad Bob have also had 20 sets of boys and 20 sets of girls bedding sets made forAHCH ICU so that they have there own dedicated linen. I want to say a big, big thank you to everyone who helped to save my life...its a small word with a big meaning and said from my heart xxx Can I ask all you nice facebook people to like my page and ask all your facebook friends to do the same. It may bring to their attention how dangerous chicken pox can be and prevent someone else going through what I went through. They may also be so kind as to make a small donation to Leanne Palmer is fundraising for CENTRAL MANCHESTER UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST CHARITY Thank you Libbie aged 3

dinger, please would explain what on earth you are going on about ? International umpires are indeed well looked after these days so it can't be that ? Umpires are only human and don't want to make mistakes, oh yes not much was said when England benefited from a wrong decision against New Zealand did they ? Australians never walk especially against England, so it can't be that ? Australia wasted their last review, can't remember batsmans name as I have just woke up, when it was pretty clear that it was going to miss the stumps so was obviously not out. The umpire got that one correct

Don't know if it's relevant but a couple of times in the past I have noticed that a thread originated by a non-mod has been locked and lo and behold a thread about exact same topic has been opened by a mod. :suspicious:

A motorcyclist in the US has made headlines after he spotted a cup resting precariously on the back fender of a moving vehicle and sped up to it, risking his life to pick up the mug and hand it to the driver while travelling at high speed. Watch the video http://news.msn.co.nz/worldnews/8687519/motorcyclist-puts-life-on-the-line-to-save-mug The one following is quite funny as well.

I think that the people who keep on and on and on about Alpine are the ones with issues coupled with an inability to think clearly and objectively. Because IF they did think clearly and objectively they would be able to just ignore what he posts. Some on here even seem to go out of their way to be annoyed, insulted or whatever on purpose. IF you don't like what he writes then skip over it. You remind me of the people who moan about TV progs, but do you just turn the TV off or change channel ?? NO you would rather come out with childish moaning, well your mothers might put up with such behaviour but I for one am fed up with you. IF you can't just ignore him then I think you should visit your Doctor so he can refer you to a good psychiatrist. .

I hope that those posting "they didn't get it" type posts are just trying to be slightly amusing otherwise they are showing that not all of their lights are on. -
about the 777 crash at San Francisco. It starts with a disclaimer as it was only about 24hrs after the crash and he only had a few pieces of info. However at the end it says:- UPDATE: "At about 4:45 EDT today, the NTSB held a press conference, and it appears most of our conjecture is correct. The target approach speed was 137 kt (not 145). Just before impact, the power was indeed at idle, and the airspeed dropped "significantly below 137 knots and we're not talking about a few knots." Seven seconds before impact, a pilot called for increased power. At 4 seconds before impact, the stick shaker actuated, indicating incipient stall. At 1.5 seconds, a pilot called for a go-around, much too late, obviously. So it appears (so far) that our analysis is more or less correct." http://flyingprofessors.net/what-happened-to-asiana-airlines-flight-214-2/ I have said for many years that I will never fly with certain Asian airlines and I remain thinking that way.

Prediction for the date of the next signing
Saint in Paradise replied to Wiggles31's topic in The Saints
Allowing for Luke Shaw signing in the next few days he next signing will be in the January transfer window. I heard that it has to be then as they have run out of those watches -
It is a well known fact that females under the age of 30 are not worth talking too as they have nothing of interest to say to us intelligent men. This also applies to a lot of young posters + quite a few of those who are over 30 but under 60 years old. Therefore I suggest that "young" posters should be allocated to a 60+year old poster who can then pre-mod what these young persons wish to say so as to avoid problems.

Football match ends in referee being decapitated
Saint in Paradise replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
In Auckland a couple of weeks ago 2 young lads were arrested after another young lad died. This was after school boy rugby practice. -
Yes his head was cut off as well as other stuff being done to him. After 20-year-old referee Octavio Jordan Silva, sent off Josenir dos Santos Abreu for a foul, Josenir verbally abused and assaulted Octavio. The referee retaliated by stabbing the player with a knife, which he had on him during the match. According to the Correio24horas, Josenir was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while fans invaded the pitch, holding the referee hostage. Upon hearing the news that Josenir had died from his injuries, fans tied up Octavio, stoning him to death. His body was quartered, decapitated and his head was pierced on a stick on the pitch. Three offenders have been identified by local police and an arrest has been made. http://nz.sports.yahoo.com/football/news/article/-/17890362/football-match-ends-in-two-deaths/

A Wellington pub is offering syringes loaded with stag semen mixed with kiwifruit liqueur and yoghurt, as part of its entry into a wild food challenge. Sarah Wood, function manager at the Green Man in the CBD, says she has tried the drink after her curiosity got the better of her. "Once you get past the fact that there is stag semen in it, it is actually quite a nice wee concoction," she told DPA on Thursday. She said a couple of customers had already tried the drink, but she was expecting more on Friday, traditionally their busiest night. "We are waiting for some game punters to come in and give it a go." http://news.msn.co.nz/nationalnews/8684854/wellington-pub-puts-stag-semen-on-menu

I suspect Bearsy would like the blonde in the back row next to the 2 blokes ? Tokyo would be pleased with either bloke only IF what some has insinuated is true. -
