  1. Seems to make things so simple seem very, very complicated.
  2. We are back to being bang average. Deal with it. Puel is making a good fist of it with the players he has.

Thank God you said "right now". In a couple of years we'll all know which we would have preferred to have bought last summer.
  4. F*ck me we were sloppy today. Fonte's sliced attempt summed up our performance. Oh well, on to the next one.
  5. That got a few laughs from me. "They were rippin man apart. It's lucky it's only two nil blud, it should've been more! It should've been more blud! It should have been an embarrassing scoreline blud, you understand!?!" Eloquent.
  6. We would have to play a "tough team" to win the cup anyway. We've shown we're good enough to win away at Arsenal in this competition so why not away to Liverpool?
  7. F*cking go for it. We can beat them if our strongest team turns up.
  8. No I'm just using it to highlight that in a year our attack has had a few teeth knocked out.
  9. Austin isn't a patch on Pelle, let's be honest.
  10. It's starting to come unstuck! We cannot hit a barn door and when we do it's with a pass a toddler wouldn't struggle to keep out. We were limp in midfield and toothless upfront, Martina and Boufal the most ineffective combination on the right wing we've had in years on that display. There is simply no cutting edge, as soon as theyou put 10 men behind the ball we had no ideas and resorted to awful long shots by the likes of Yoshida. Dreary result. We truly are stuck in a rut. How bad has it got that I knew throughout the whole second half I was wasting my time. We wouldn't have scored if we had 4 hours to play. Utter shambles.
  11. Nice bit of propaganda for Les. He's done an excellent job, which he knows. I wonder ifor we have a database for a Director of Football replacement? Hopefully Reed won't leave!
  12. Looks to be mostly stag in terms of "large animals", from what I can see. In which case, it's not that alarming. If it were elephants, lions etc; endangered animals, then I agree with your views.
  13. It seems the goal against Ipswich I was thinking of was his second for us
  14. Wayne Thomas?
  15. We always play the big teams when they're having an off day, didn't you know?
  16. Internazionale still have some ferclucking good players in their team, with the likes of Perisic just sitting on the bench. They obviously have quality, just haven't got into gear at all this season. For us to dominate as we did, with 7000 loud and proud fans, and only sheer bad luck costing us a draw or win, leaves a warm feeling in my heart. As another poster put it, to paraphrase; "If I had chicken for dinner, we'd have won". It really was that close. A gnats scrote away from all three points at the San Siro. It could be worse! Work on our finishing and we're sorted.
  17. Good point,, but we could sure do with Jay Rod fully fit and how he was back in 2013.
  18. Tough game tonight. Would be chuffed to bits with a win given our form in front of goal recently.
  19. Of course it's the language barrier. You try speaking to a bunch of journalists in a language you haven't tried speaking at any great length before. The bloke's only been in the country a couple of months and is being lambasted left, right and centre by people who support the team he is managing! Give him half a season at least to both learn the language and prove himself as our manager Coyr
  20. The Premier League and Sky have created such a monstrosity with the massive injections of capital they have put in. The figures being bandied about this transfer window are absolutely ridiculous.
  21. Only if they offer above and beyond. We clearly haven't.
  22. It's because we're punching well above our weight. You won't see Stoke City having a player of Mané's age and quality.
