You’ve basically taken the words right out of my mouth. The way they just gave up, to be honest they didn’t show much from the kick off, was an absolute bloody disgrace. Thats what pissed me off the most. I’ve been supporting this club nearly 50 years so losing isn’t an issue anymore, you accept that. But no effort? Nah, I see only 3 players bothered to acknowledge those left at the end. Anyone know who they were out of interest?

If the decision on his future was based purely on footballing terms rather than financial ones I randomly find myself agreeing with Jamie Redknapp who said on Sky the other day he should stay at Southampton next season, tear up the Championship then see where he is in the summer 2026.
