I was very pleased for him putting that penalty away last night. After so long out it would have been a boost to hit the back of the net, even from the spot.

In all the minutes he's played so far I dont think I've seen Lallana lose the ball or mis-place a pass to the opposition once. I like the fact he's pointing to where players should be and encouraging everyone. I was very meh when he came back mainly due to the way he left but fair play to him, hes been incredible and a future coach/manager in the making I would think.

We were warned by Swansea fans that RM had his favourites and no matter their ability he would not drop them come hell or high water.

Unfortunately, esp in the case of Stephens thats always been the case, mostly cos by the time he thinks about it the opposition have sussed out thats what hes going to do. Of course we cant say that anymore without being accused of scapegoating him and using him as the sacrifical lamb !!

When Bednerek and Stephens are no. 1 & 2 for most touches of the ball you know something isn't right. You dont need any other stats to back that up, the two least technical and capable with the ball at their feet (outfield) is frightening.

Thetes a difference between being out of your depth and failure to learn. Now if he spend the international break tweaking a few simple things that make us less suicidal at the back then fair enough. But if we blindly carry on with him enjoying the good moments in another 3 goal loss to United then Ipswich then yeah, out of his depth and too stubborn to adjust makes him a busted flush.
