  1. When has he ever got hold of a game and driven us forward ? He’s a free kick specialist who at present can’t even take a fkin corner. Last year he was very good, so far this year he’s reverted to the days when every manager (Poch, Koeman, Puel, the Argie bloke) picked him then ended up having to drop him cos he was ineffective. Basically this season we haven’t just lost Ings, we’ve lost JWP as well. The biggest problem yesterday was the front four were totally ineffective. Adams and Armstrong aren’t gonna score enough to keep us up despite some people wheeling out their “they only need to score 6 or 7 each” bloody stat. Redmond and Moi are unable to feed the strikers, Moi has more about him than the other bloody fool but he’s not very quick at doing it. Half time should have seen Broja, Tella and Perrard on with Redmond, Moi and Adams off and use the pace of Tella down one side and Tino on the other to just run at them and get the ball in the box. But no, we fuck around with JWP or Romeu coming back towards the centre backs to pick up the ball.
  2. I agree that the recluctance to try Tino and KWP on the right together is crazy and its doing my bloody head in. Try it Ralph, ffs, it cant be any worse than watching Redmond tit around. It was the biggest thing I couldnt understand about RH's decisions until yesterday, then it was gazumped..............................Shane Long 🤦‍♂️
  3. I’d rather have Armstrong than Adams
  4. The Long sub today was one of the most bizarre subs he has ever made. The guy was an unused sub against Sheffield United in the week so he didn’t even get a brief run out ready for today. Yet the player who wasn’t wanted last season and was packed off to Bournemouth is suddenly trusted to come on and get a goal while a player Ralph raved over at the end of last season and who played well mid week is left sat on the bench. Fkin unbelievable
  5. Is that all he is, 26 ? You're right he looks much much older and very much like his old man. Shame he's with such a gobby bugger but she's good so he should have a decent run.
  6. As soon as I saw that twat with his chirpy cockney persona was involved in the draw I knew it would end badly 😆
  7. Lyanco up against that bloody nut job McBurnie. Could be interesting…..
  8. To be fair Salisu played over an hour of that game after all……so get your facts right
  9. Jeff Stelling on Redmond after his latest fuck up “Redmond with a great big smile on his face…..” And that exactly sums up why I can’t stand Redmond, he screws up then smiles like a fkin idiot 😡
  10. Great idea dropping you best looking centre back last week when you toddle off to the hardest match of the season. Still I’m sure the non effective Moi and Redmond from last week will be equally non effective. I do wonder what the fuck Ralph thinks he’s doing sometimes….
  11. Honestly, every few months we get this. He has a run of decent games and suddenly someone asks if he’s the answer and has he improved. It was only a month ago he watched DCL wander into the six yard box to tap in for Everton. As ever he’s capable of a good game or two, a very good game, but he will slip back into his old ways given time. He’s 28, what you see now is what you’re going to get.
  12. Therein lies the issue for me. He hasn’t worked out yet playing Tino and KWP together on the right might be a good idea. This lad looks to have it all - pace, strength, height and an eye for a goal. We have him for a year, bloody well make use of him Ralph instead of titling round with Adams and Armstrong. Whichever works best with Broja in training is your second striker, it really isn’t rocket science.
  13. I would rather have Dejenpo out of the two. If he doesn’t know what he’s gonna do next then niether do defenders. He needs to produce an end product, that’s what the coaching staff are there for, to help him with that. You can’t fall the 100% effort he puts in, he worked his socks off yesterday.
  14. Maybe like the rest of us they knew it wasn’t a real chance given it was Redmond 🤣 But yeah, in all seriousness a game of fairly few highlights you would think they could have squeezed that in.
  15. I think its Ralph's inability to pick the best side that will hamper us. Tino and KWP interchanging on the right is a no brainer, even the England U21 coach gave Ralph a clue midweek by playing Tino right midfield. Make the most of Broja while we have him, whichever one of Armstrong or Adams forms the best partnership with him gets the nod.
  16. Tino and KWP on that right side is a no brainer for me. Broja looks the real deal, a tall striker with pace and power, make the most of him while he’s here Ralph! A lot of people had a go at Djenepo and yes his end product is pretty awful but he gives 100% and if I had to choose between him and Redmond then he gets my vote.
  17. If they are paying 1.5 million rising to 2 million for a full international (which he is) who has played and scored in the Prem (which he has) then they’ve done well. Given what other players are going for Saints should have got at least £3.5 - 4.5 million for him
  18. Agreed, of course it hasn’t
  19. Has that fkin idiot Jim White who made transfer deadline day all about him and made an 18 yr olds move from Barnsley to Rotherham on loan sound like the deal of the day actually left Sky Sports yet or has he hung on for a last lap of honour today?
  20. Unless it’s been taken out of context it’s comments like this from Ralph that really worry me. Stephens is adequate, he has the odd very good game but then he’ll have one like yesterday. Too inconsistent and his weaknesses three years ago are still his weaknesses today, ball watching being the biggest.
  21. Elyounoussi certainly staking a claim, good for him !
  22. The Redmond/Elyounoussi combo fills me with dread but i suppose Redders will look good against League 2 players. Hoping Broja features for at least part of the game.
  23. This all makes staying up this year so much more important, we could have a fantastic young side in a couple of years
  24. Did not see that coming, well played Saints and Ralph made some decent subs for a change. More encouraged than I was this morning that’s for sure.
  25. Has to be injured……surely?
