  1. Thought we were worth a point there to be honest. Great effort from the players. I will say however I can see why Redmond is limited to sub appearances at the moment.
  2. I wonder if he might start Ings on the bench, bring Redmond or Djenepo in and put Theo through the middle then bring Danny on in the second half. It’s just his talk of “managing minutes” that makes me wonder. He may drop Armstrong to the bench as he’s mentioned before about being careful with him due to his injury record.
  3. Remember that in reality its 1300 odd tickets go in the ballot after they've taken out corporate and the uber fans so if there are 10,000 season ticket holders those next three games you list will only take it up to about 7,000 succesfull in the ballot. You may have to wait until Villa.....or Wolves 🙁

    20/21 Kit

I had exactly the same, email 25/11, tracking number bloody useless......mine turned up by Royal Mail yesterday 🙂
  5. Oh bugger yeah of course 🤣
  6. yeah i was wondering the same as it must be easier to park closer than a normal matchday
  7. Just got our two tickets for Saturday by email 😀
  8. I'm sure Theo would want to play against Arsenal but it could well be he starts on the bench.
  9. What about exiting the stadium? How is that handled?
  10. Yes especially with Tella scoring four yesterday he must really be prime for a loan in January
  11. I wonder if the sticking point is Bertrand wants 3 years to see him through to 35 (and possibly the end of his playing career) and the club are only offering 2 years as with Long. Its a very valid point about him needing to be replaced, or at least have serious competition, in the next 18 months or so. I guess thats why Ralph seems so keen on Williams at United.
  12. well Ryan has supposedly been close to signing since early August according to sources, inc The Athletic I believe. I'm hoping its right obviously but not holding me breath just yet....
  13. Was Carragher this bad last season when Liverpool got every VAR decision going? Thought not 🤣 And that interview with Ings was terrible, I’m glad Danny looked up and said “I don’t really know what you want me to say”
  14. I do wonder why taking the knee gets included in highlights of every single match shown on Match Of The Day. We get it, we know its happening, but does it really need to be shown ? "Oh look what a wonderful technique from Patrick Bamford, look how he's got himself into position so well to take the knee"....
  15. Not just him. Michael Holding has expressed similar views. Are footballers going to continue to take the knee indefinitely then ? Is this now part of the pre-kick off ritual? I understand why they do it and there is no issue with it whatsoever but I did think this would happen for a few weeks (the end of last season) and at the start of this season be quitely retired. There's gonna be hell to pay when teams decide to stop doing it. Didnt QPR get hammered a couple of months ago for not participating ?
  16. Being a natural pessimist I don't find this coming up regularly very encouraging I'm afraid
  17. It certainly doesn’t, in effect instead of seeing say 1 in 5 matches you are looking at 1 in 8 until the figures increase. I really think away support should not be relevant to how the club caters for their home support. They are creating an elitist supporter group. If they want to do something like that they should say members who have attended every home match will be granted a percentage, at least that would be more relevant for home support.
  18. Woah that’s a bit fkin much isn’t it? So some fans are better than other fans are they? That’s what they are saying. How can it be fair that some can go to “each home match or alternate matches” whilst the rest of the season ticket holders are in a ballot not for one of 2000 tickets but one of 1300 ? I know it’s unique times, I know they would never be able to please everyone but bloody hell, come on. I don’t understand why supporting the team away from home should even come into this. There are many reasons why fans can or will only watch the home matches ie. Cost, travel, work, personal circumstances either medical or financial.... It certainly does feel like the goalposts have been moved 🤨
  19. Under normal circumstances, if it’s still permitted, then yes probably. But it’s going to be played under Covid restrictions so Spurs will have to rough it, Marine aren’t going to pass up the chance to let their fans see this.
  20. I wonder if they would have given him a new deal had the Walcott season long loan happened earlier?
  21. I’m getting really pissed off with Sky putting that stat up about how many points we’ve dropped over the past couple of seasons once we take the lead. Sometimes you have barely finished celebrating the goal and there it is, it’s like the graphics guy just can’t wait to show it. The thing is it’s nothing new, they are treating it as some kind of weird phenomenon but anyone who has supported Saints for any decent length of time will be well aware that it’s always happened, it’s the Southampton way ! Many a time that clock on the East Stand at The Dell used to go a quarter speed once it got to 4.35 on a Saturday afternoon. The number of goals this club has conceded in the last 10 mins must be huge. Probably not many more than most clubs but it always feels like it is.
  22. This is why the five sub rule would do us no favours at all.
  23. We were not good today, half time score was flattering. I thought the front three of Theo, Adams and Armstrong were poor, Djenepo looked most dangerous. Too many sloppy passes, second half was poor but United do that to us at home time after time no matter how we play. Disappointing but no real surprise.
  24. Mark Hughes for every interview after every defeat at every club he was ever with. Redknapp - no explanation needed. Rodgers Poyet
