TBH the Leicester 9-0 was as a result of his actions as well. This is why I'm surprised they have overturned the latest Dean balls up because it brings his competence even more into question. Of course the death threats will make any action against him go away I'm sure.....

I just think the fact we had jolly Jack playing as emergency right back, therefore taking away one of our better attacking options shows what a complete and utter fuck up it was not getting one in during the transfer window. We had 30 days to get it done and ended up running around like bloody idiots with a few hours left and failing badly. The sooner KWP is back the better.

They won’t over turn this one. If they do they have to take Dean and Mason out of the firing line and I don’t believe they would be prepared to do that.

Don’t you think if Armstrong and/or Theo had been fit that useless sod would of been sat on the bench? I don’t know what his problem is, a couple of injuries and he gets his chance to show the manager why he should be in the team.....and he failed miserably. He’s been absolute crap since the restart after lockdown.

Look none of us are happy about it BUT ffs, if Dean hadn’t taken over with his ego trip and totally ballsed up with the second sending off that game ends 6-1, maybe 7 (the Adams goal should of counted) it doesn’t go to 9. Don’t let the fact we have horrendous injuries, are playing kids cos there is no other choice, and had to play the previous 85 minutes with 10 men get in your way though eh? That result is absolutely nowhere near as bad or hurtful as the Leicester one, that was a disgrace. Tuesday was not, fuck me even the normally brain dead Paul Merson on Sky said “this ain’t a 9-0, no way” I’m still more upset about the injustice of the Villa game. Nobody will ever convince me we weren’t cheated there. That’s the game you should be having a fit about, not a result where everything that could possibly go wrong did.

I’m not sure that once you enter a period of exclusivity you can move the goalposts like that can you? Anyway it’s irrelevant now I guess.

I think the “getting out of the habit” must be one of all clubs biggest concerns. Doing something different for a week or two is one thing but when you are filling that time differently for over a year it’s going to be a big effort for many people to get back into the swing of it.

You’ve missed the point, it’s not that they would have made any difference in the sendings off it’s that it would have made a difference in choice of bodies/positions at Newcastle.....actually it would probably have made a difference in starting line up at Old Trafford PS this is in the Newcastle thread cos I’m referring to the options for the Newcastle game 🙂

We played with fire by letting Vokins and Valery go out on loan. One of them yeah, probably fine but not both when you aren’t bringing in any cover. That decision was always going to leave us on a knife edge with one more injury or suspension at the back whilst clinging to the hope we could muddle through until one or more of KWP/Vestergaard/Salisu were fit. Well before Valery even unpacked his bags in Birmingham it’s happened, and looks like it will spill over to Newcastle. Its not about how good or bad either Valery or Vokins are, it’s about giving yourself more choice as to what to do. But those options have gone and we are left with what? Two kids who will be shell shocked after last night with no experience between them. Just great 😌
