  1. Even stranger that he’s picked him then 🤣
  2. Not unhappy with that line up. No Walcott even on bench. I still think Ralph picks the names out of a hat. Tella no game time then suddenly he gets a start…..at last !
  3. I noticed that VVD didn’t really celebrate his goal which given all the abuse we give him was credit to him.
  4. No, but I do wonder why he played a different formation than the one that worked against Man City and, bar the sending off, Chelsea. And oh look, he reverted to that when we are 3 down !
  5. Any chance Ralph holds his hands up and admits he got the formation wrong first half?
  6. Good of Ralph to give Tella a run out in another lost cause of a game.
  7. Cant be Covid, according to M Le Tissier there is no such thing.
  8. It's not gonna happen, not with Ralph in charge. Seems the excuse is FF not signing a new contract although that issue didnt arise last year when it was Ings.
  9. When have you ever heard Ralph take responsibility for screwing up? If he can’t understand how we lost then that’s very worrying to be honest.
  10. Redmond obviously out because of the baby arriving yesterday but no S Armstrong or Dejenepo. Unless these guys get injured in the session after his press conference Ralph is fond of telling the odd porkie to give the opposition a curve ball
  11. Chandlers Ford was the popular place for players back in the 80’s
  12. Absolutely no surprise at all, Lampard thinks he’s better than a club like Norwich. Whether he is or not is open for debate.
  13. I'm really surprised. I thought he would stay at Rangers then walk into the Liverpool job when Klippity calls time. This way, if he screws up at Villa, his chances of getting the Liverpool job decrease markedly. If he makes a succes of it however the Liverpool job is a certainty. Hoping for a re-emergence of old Slippy G 😄
  14. Has he consulted a map and seen how far it is from Poole?
  15. Funny looking on Social Media and seeing Newcastle fans trying to convince themselves this is a good appointment. I may well be proved wrong but I cant see him doing anything up there, he isnt the kind of manager who is going to attract big name players. The appointment is a bit like buying a mansion and kitting it out with flat pack furniture from Argos.
  16. Didnt Conte turn Spurs down a few months ago ? With their star player on a season long sulk cos Levy wouldnt let him leave I cant say its an attractive proposition for him. He'd be better waiting until United pull the trigger on OGS
  17. They are a dirty lot of bastards, they were against Arsenal the other week then again today. How they got away with that forearm smash I just don’t understand, then Targett’s neck high challenge on Antonio went completely unpunished.
  18. Do we win by more if Broja was fit? Let’s hope he’s back next Friday
  19. It didn’t matter how good Forster, Lyanco, Diallo etc played mid week or over the past 3 games in the case of Diallo, the old favourites were always coming back in. Anyone who believed that bullshit about JWP not assured of his place is a mug.
  20. It doesn’t matter who played well tonight as Ralph will revert to his same old same old on Saturday. Despite the midfield looking far more fluid in the past three games the poster boy JWP will be straight back in as well.
  21. Bloody hell, even without Tino the manager still can’t pick KWP in his strongest position 🙄
  22. They were/are supposed to be installed during the next International break but someone who isnt prone to tittle tattle told me on Saturday that the new jumbo screens were too heavy to be supported by the existing brackets etc so who knows ?
  23. Yeah you are correct but to play the kid against top teams away yet leave him out of potentially winnable easier games is unfair on him.
  24. Personally I dont think he's mentally strong, nowhere near. If he was there would be an "i'll show you" attitude about his play and when hes not playing well, which lets be totally honest is more often than not, he goes missing and contributes nothing. Even Ralph has subbed him early a couple of times, once at half time if memory serves. I bet Dave Merrington, the king of mental strength and toughness, wouldnt be telling you Redmoind is mentally strong.
  25. its the million dollar question isnt it ? Last season he seemed to be Ralph's blue eyed boy, this season he's behind our own special not so fab four of Redmond, Ely, Djenepo and Walcott......oh wait, no, Ralph now sees him more as a central striker in competition with Armstrong (cant remember what game it was he stated this in the pre match press conference). Yet when he drops Armstrong he gives the spot to.......Redmond, with Tella still sat on the bench. Now whether there is an attitude problem with the player I've no idea. But its a very strange situation.
