Are you serious? Anyone with a modicum of intelligence or powers of recall will remember that RH said with Tino being out until the New Year the club may have to look at cover. This would be the ideal solution, a free transfer, a player with vast Premier League experience and someone who can come in and do a decent job. Give the club some stick when they deserve it, and bloody hell there’s enough scope for that, but don’t criticise when they look to do something logical and sensible.

We are an average team who, when everyone is on their game, can give the bigger teams a bloody nose but if three or four aren’t at it we can be rolled over by anyone. We lack back bone and character. When everything is going well that’s not an issue cos confidence is high, when the wheels start to fall off we are screwed.

We need - A new coaching staff or assistant manager at the very least, assuming RH is staying. Team wise - a first choice keeper, two centre backs, if anyone is mug enough to buy them get rid of Bednarek and Stephens. A central midfield player who can put his foot in and dictate, Romeu did it when we had our great run of form. An atracking midfield player. Two strikers. That would be my minimum but I’m not expecting anything like if I’m honest.

Well that we will probably never know. He had a big say in some of those contract extensions and a couple of those make less sense than the signings.
