  1. If you've both been able to deal with it like grown ups, then fair play to you. Enjoy the single life, and all the meaningless sex it will bring.
  2. The friends thing never works, especially when you see her with another bloke for the first time. You'll probably need a few more clocks then.
  3. not a full scale padded cell job, no. But it certainly didn't make for a good christmas.
  4. I would give a serious answer, but this doesn't seem like the place, so sit back and enjoy the ride!
  5. PM for me too please MB

Though that's not to say that an advanced race doesn't drop in just to check we haven't blown ourselves up yet. C, Moon landings - Yes, I've seen and held moon rock  D, Roswell - see B, nowt like a government denying something to make it seem real E, GOD - nah F, 9/11 - Terrorist attack. Imagine GWB being involved in something that elaborate, and not f::cking it up G, Father Christmas - Only if I get the presents I wrote to him about
  7. Got to level 38 on that before getting thouroughly p*ssed off that I couldn't do it, so decided to play bubble tanks instead: http://www.kongregate.com/games/HeroInteractive/bubble-tanks-2
  8. I suppose there was also Barfy the Pig: http://www.funkadillo.com/barfythepig/barfymain.htm#
  9. When I put my real name into Google images, I get to find out how many people in America share my name: I refuse to put my nickname into an image search [-(
  10. Harmison needed to get a serious amount of overs bowled to get his rythmn back, hopefully that's now sorted. Sidebottom is a left handed copy of Hoggard, if it ain't swinging there is no threat. Hoggard imo would be a better choice. Anderson, imo, is a quality bowler with still more potential to fulfill. Likewise Broad. Jones - Can he really recover fully from 2 hideous injuries to lead an international attack? on a flat Indian wicket, can he really bowl the 50 -60 overs that would be needed, bearing in mind that Flintoff is in the same boat? If I were to pick the team now, it would be: Cook, Strauss, Bell, KP, Colly, AN Other (hell why not Dimi ), Broad, Ambrose, Freddie, Anderson, Monty.
  11. Given Dimi's destructive ability with the bat, I must admit I'd have him in there in place of Wright or Flintoff, though I'd probably try and find a way to accomodate Dimi and Flintoff. Is it possible that Dimi's exclusion is some kind of punishment for going to play in the IPL? It just strikes me as very wierd that he's not even in the squad
  12. I think you were just getting MB's hopes up. EDIT: and Pompeylass'
  13. Katy Perry - I don't know why I shouldn't, but definitely would. Oh, and Susanna Reid.
  14. Barfy74 Pretty much exclusively on CoD4 at the moment as I've been too cheap to buy any new games recently
  15. two visitors, the last one being The Scud
  16. Sounds like the person who lived in the same house as me for a short while at college. After discovering it once and cleaning it up, the landlady evicted all five of us the second time it happened and we all lost our deposit
  17. playing bingo whilst eating cheese and pickle sandwiches, bacon wheat munchies and a toffee crisp. All washed down with a large cup of coffee.
  18. oops, missed that, but considering that test and ODI teams are quite seperate now, the idea of seperate captaincy isn't a bad one! KP for ODI & Twenty20 captain?
  19. He seems quite a calm person (like Fleming) and an intelligent cricketer. He is likely to be a fixture in the test team for a good few years yet (barring catastrophic loss of form). So on that score I think he would make a good captain. As for experience, Graham Smith was younger than Cook when he took over the SA job. I just hope the selectors don't just give the job to KP as a knee jerk reaction without seriously considering other options.
  20. That stuff is lovely, the mrs bought me it while I was recovering from an op because she thought it was healthier than stuffing my face with crisps and chocalate all day. It apparently helps keep you regular too :smt023
  21. I've always though Vaughan's captaincy was one of England's stronger points and I had hoped he could have remained until next summer. His form combined with what seems to be problems behind the scenes though probably makes this as good a time as any to step down and give a new captain some time to bed in before the Aussies arrive. KP is the obvious choice for capatain, but Cook is another possibility for test captaincy (if Colly remains as ODI captain). What worries more though is the relationship between coach, captain and selectors. Who's calling the shots?
