  1. When the council protected the land with the sports use planning restriction Pompey still had most of the people fooled. Now almost every one has got the message that they have messed this up in the worst possible way. Also the councols are desperate for cash and jobs. If some one is offering to create 500 jobs and those huge section 105 planning bungs then I can see thecouncil bending over and re-interpreting the community need for that land. "I am sure there is a bit of mud flats somewhere where they can kick a ball about"
  2. I came up with some mystery spots recently, a bit like chicken pox. Not itchy. Just went away. No blood though. It could be two unrelated symptoms.
  3. I suspect points deduction will yet a gain be a useless penalty as they are going down on thier own lack of merit
  4. fitting music for saggy chops
  5. If they let Redknap off the tax charges at 2pm today thst is a sure sign he will be England manager.
  6. Big tip..... Those homeplug things need to be plugged in the wall, not an extension socket
  7. I remember trampling on the Rose gardens in the centre of the road out side the Civic Centre when Saints won the cup in '76 was also a fountain. Also the lido. My favourite shop was Subway Records near the bus station. Cheap second grade Lp 's with a pencil hole punched in one corner. I remember the M27 being built and we rode a bantam up and down it before it was opened. I remember trudging up and down the high street at Christmas in the rain looking Christmas presents in the rain. No pedestrian precinct or covered shopping centres. I did driving lessons on the old heliport on west quay road (where staples is). I remember crossing the Woolston Ferry in dads mk1 cortina and the bridge being built. I saw Tom Robinson in the old floating bridge renamed "floaters"(night club) it got burned out soon after. And there were hovercrafts to the Isle of Wight. .
  8. I don't believe a word of their story. However when you are paying Stupid wages you are over the £10,000 limit for simle BACS transfer and you move into CHAPS and have to notify the government of the transaction.
  9. The doorbell at work
  10. I wouldn't have any problem at all. I just want a steward/ess who doesn't add a bread roll or biscuits to my gluten free meal!
  11. If you google for it you can find forums where people are trying to get gastric band opps. Some of them only weigh about 12 stone.

  13. But Charlotte Jackson is far worse, she is a SKATE! lol
  14. I am beginning to sway towards a stitch up by another work mate or more likly SKY. Motive :either someone else wants his job or resemnts thier high wage Sky dont want to pay him 2m any more reasons: sky have made all the footage very readly available.... Why would they not have kept this embarrasing footage private. To my knowledge none of this footage was broadcast by mistake.
  15. Let's put this in perspective. He has made some stupid comments and I really can't believe he is worth 2m a year. However isn't sacking him a grossly disproportionate penalty? The BBC fined Ross for far worse comments. I can think of a whole office of people at work who could be sacked 5 times a day. Male and female!
  16. It made me chukkle... http://frattonise.blogspot.com/2011/01/pompey-fans-call-for-storries.html
  17. Do Pompey pay for the players whilst Chanrai get 80% from the sales?
  18. Thats a bit rich coming from the people who continue to run pompeys finances with wreckless abandon
  19. I think Alan Johnston has taken an opportunist blinder. The labour opposition cabinet are an embarrassment. They are trying to attack vary weak Tories who are making a hash of fixing their mess. They are attacking the cuts to their overspending rather than proposing a solid plan. The reality is probably to harsh to drop on the public. When these to cabinets collapse Alan is in a good position to step in and replace the kids that are doing it now. I can see a labour cabinet of Burnham Johnston Denham Abbott at the core. I hate family links in politics, they run on back room deals. Cooper and Balls, or Southampton's Marsh-Jenks & Jenks gang.
  20. Re reacher sickness. It is easy to go to work with mild flue if you sit at a desk and talk on the phone. Try standing up and presenting to kids if you are only 50%. There is no flexible time if you have lessons all day, it's show time all day. I am not a teacher but I do some training.
  21. We have lost 10% each year for the last 20 years... Even though the redundancy offer is reducing each time there is no shortage of people trying to escape. One day it might be me... LOL I doubt there wil be need to have compulsery redundcies as long as they stay below 12%. They could offer people 6 month sebaticals (on 1/4 wage or less) to try out another career. many dont return.
  22. Once again if I was voting for Sandra or Caroline Nokes it would be lib dem Sandra Gidley who worked hard on health issues. A month after campaigning on family values Nokes admitted an affair. I haven't seen any positive action dice she got voted in. Cameron has been a damp squib. Bleating out "tough but fair" as he does the opposite. His changes have hit some time after time. Whilst others are barely affected. A little gem was closing the warm front scheme that insulates & repairs heating for the poor and old and making the energy suppliers do it. That is effectively a tax rise on fuel! As if gas and electric wasn't expensive enough.
  23. Not as quiet as all those buyers!
  24. I like the tiny URL I'd also like to see "The Tax Man Commoth HMRC"
  25. And the bigger the contract the more Mr Storrie got paid!
