Because Ron Davies is the only possible answer to the question. Anyone old enough to have seen him play would know that. My first game was against Stoke in 1971 and he scored the winning goal with a far post header at the Milton End Have a look at the You Tube link below. Man United 1 Saints 4 from August 1969. Ron Davies scored all four, three from far post headers

I'm currently making a website and uploading around 10 pictures. Each of them are JPEGs and around 500kb each. Is there anyway of reducing this to around 50kb each without losing quality?

At the risk of being an anorak, some info. When SMS was built they looked into reopening the docks line. The idea was that the line would be used for commuters to ocean village during the week and for games at SMS at weekends. In fact the old Northam station was on the docks line and was located behind the Chapel. The cost in 2001 was around £3 million for upgrading the line, plus the cost of building two stations. The plan never got off the ground. Reopening old rail lines is generally very complicated, as funding tends to come from all sorts of different places and the reinstatement process is not straightforward. I guess that it was just too much like hard work for little benefit. Operating the line would also have been difficult as the curve from Southampton Central has been filled in and is now part of a school playing field. This would mean that trains could only run north without reversing. The more sensible place for a station for SMS would have been the other side of Northam bridge on the main line, connected to the stadium by an underpass. However, South West trains very thoughtfully built their train care centre on the site. I also have it on authority from a SW Trains employee that they would not consider a station on the site anyway as it would affect train operations on the main line and slow things down. I can only see the issue being revisited if SMS was extended, as it would make sense to try to reduce the number of cars in the area, and it might be a condition of extension. Otherwise don't hold your breath.
