The thinking was that Hoedt would deal better with Murray rather than Yoshida who deals better with faster strikers. Although on that basis, Hoedt would be better to deal with Wood, so I don't really understand it myself. I've given up trying to work out his team selections tbh.

We need a win and we need a convincing performance too. Burnley will be a tough nut to crack, although our record against them at St Mary's is pretty good. On the other hand, their away form is superb.

It's in a book about Pochettino written by Guillem Ballague, but Pochettino writes some stuff in there also. Primarily focused on Spurs. Has anyone read the book, and are there any other snippets from his time at Saints?

What happened to the guy who wore the face paint and wig? The cameras showed him every game but haven't seen him this season. I had a friend at school who was a dungeons and dragons type and I was amazed to learn that he now goes to pretty much every game. Not once did he show one iota of interest in football.
