  1. Palace winning!
  2. Interestingly, Bosz, the Dortmund manager, will probably be sacked soon. They were 4-0 up against rivals Schalke and it ended up 4-4!! At least we'd have entertaining games if he came here, that's for sure.
  3. West Brom winning at Spurs! Looks like sacking the manager has paid off for them...
  4. I was reading KUMB, and they mentioned it too. They suggested that perhaps Sullivan and Gold paid them off or something.
  5. Martin O’Neill now in the frame for Everton!
  6. He was speaking at some sort of convention.
  7. I miss the good times, like reaching a Wembley final and finishing in the top 8 for four years in a row.
  8. Lol, Heisenberg clutching at straws. Even by his standards, very poor effort.
  9. Funny that, Leicester name an unchanged team. It's almost as if Puel was rotating the team because we had extra games or something...
  10. If he decides that he never wants to play Champions League football, then Everton would be the perfect place for him.
  11. https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/southampton-vs-everton-26-11-2017-ko-1-30pm-gmt.100604/ They're still just as deluded as ever
  12. If Saints don't win tomorrow, I'm writing an angry letter to Mr Goa
  13. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42108500 Hmmmmmmm I'm inclined to agree with him for the moment, and I don't think we'll be involved in a battle (although if we lose to Everton, that will change). But we should be higher in the table, lower mid-table isn't good enough.
  14. If Lemina is fit, that would be massive for us. The one positive in a very underwhelming season.
  15. We were three points off the Champions League in May 2016. Maybe we got complacent, maybe a bit arrogant, who knows. A lot of people worked very hard to get that close, and perhaps there needs to be some sort of examination behind the scenes as to where it's going wrong. The big concern for me is where the next gem from the youth is coming from. Sims is injured at the moment, he's probably the most likely. Targett needs regular game time and with Bertrand here he won't get it, Gallagher's progression hasn't happened, it doesn't seem like there is anyone at the moment.
  16. Good point I guess, although more referring to the fact that, given Everton's position, we are the heavy favourites to win.
  17. https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/who-the-heck-are-we-going-to-pick-as-centre-halves-on-sunday.100582/ Everton fans seem happy
  18. The only 'Southampton Way' I know is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. 0-3 loss incoming
  19. Hesketh has to, at the very least, be on the bench. Should start really. Or start him at Man City for the surprise factor.
  20. So Everton play tonight and then have an early kick off on Sunday. Not nice for them, good for us though.
  21. It doesn't affect me negatively in any way so who cares? If Saints did it I would neither be bothered nor outraged.
  22. I wonder if Mr Gao has a SaintsWeb account?
  23. Of course it will, but we'll see if it lasts. Man City we can write off really, it's a free hit for us. Didn't Pellegrino's Alaves beat Barcelona last season? And we drew up there last season (Redmond goal!!) so who knows what will happen.
  24. Jim McCalliog Gordon Hobson David Armstrong Paul Rideout Andy Cook Alan McLoughlin Barry Horne Iain Dowie Neil Maddison Egil Ostenstad Kevin Davies Neil McCann Jermaine Wright Paul Wotton Jason Puncheon Guly Do Prado Gaston Ramirez Sadio Mané Charlie Austin Some of those are way before my time so I have no idea how they compare. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-southampton/rueckennummern/verein/180
  25. Paul Wotton and Neil McCann are up there as well
