Also very interesting that K Billy is very much against sacking the manager. Some sort of ITK good cop bad cop strategy??

First season back, when we went to QPR and beat them 3-1. The media dubbed the match 'El Sackico'. I think they were 20th and we were 19th. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/20278600 I guess there were perhaps a couple more after that, but that one sticks out in my memory as being a massive game for us at the time.

Oh dear, a 2-1 defeat at the Posh. Their play-off dream takes another big hit.
-
Strachan doesn't have a big enough reputation apparently for our international mega stars
-
Bosz would be excellent for us. Fits the black box criteria, the only box he doesn't tick is that he's currently employed. Once he's sacked, he'll be top of the list surely.

Kevin Friend is the ref

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/4232308.stm Dennis Wise starred for Southampton in a match that was delayed for 40 minutes after the floodlights failed. Southampton boss Harry Redknapp: "I've never seen a team create and miss so many chances. If we still had Peter Crouch and Kevin Phillips up front we'd have won by seven. "It was not a great point. In fact it was very much two points lost so far as we are concerned. "We should have won comfortably. We played some tremendous football and three points were for the taking." That must have motivated the players...

We're 7th in the table for goals conceded. Assuming that there is roughly where we are aiming to finish, the defence is doing OK. Attack is the issue that needs fixing.
-
What are you on about? We are organised defensively already. We've conceded fewer goals than Liverpool, Arsenal, amongst many others. Defence is not the issue (not including the goalkeeper obviously) - it's the attack. We don't need another defensive manager, we need someone who will play on the front foot. Rodgers is my first choice but Adkins would improve us in that regard as well.
-
Right, because they're performing under Pellegrino... And you want Big Sam!!   None of what I say is untrue at all, and you know it. Boufal would thrive under Adkins, just like Lallana did. A dinosaur like Allardyce is not the answer.
-
It would be easier here - he'd have the fans on board right from the start. The upturn in atmosphere alone would help improve the team. Brendan Rodgers failed at Reading too, and he'd be my number 1 choice. And a whole host of managers had failed at Sheffield United before him, he wasn't the only one. He did bring in Billy Sharp back though, which has helped them enormously.
-
We were in the relegation zone when he took over. If he had been here for the entire season, we'd have won League 1 easily. Remember his last game... losing 2-0 away at Chelsea at half time, we came back to 2-2. He could turn our form around quite easily.

This is a must win game, given that our next match is Man City away
-
Lower prices at home, maybe, but not away from home. A lot clubs charge much more than the £30 limit in the PL, it's outrageous some of the prices some teams charge for away fans. In any case, we won't be going down, so it's irrelevant really.
-
Why on earth would anyone want Pulis - we just beat West Brom! They were worse than us, and if our useless manager can get the better of them, we don't want him anywhere near us. Nor Big Sam either.
-
Adkins as a caretaker manager until we get our first choice in the summer would be OK.
-
I'd rather Pellegrino than Eric Black as caretaker for the must win Everton match. Black would be the same old same old.
-
Gillette Soccer Saturday has been the most critical I would say. Probably helps that MLT is on there.
-
They always start well and seem to drop off towards the end. I guess we'll see how he does at the end of the season. If he goes to Everton I can see him taking them down.
