  1. They only got a point because of Tadic. We were very, very poor, and we still almost managed to somehow win it.
  2. They were in a relegation battle though, they had little option really but to change the manager. Let's say that this is Puel's worst season with us. Not that bad for a 'terrible season' - a (probable) top half finish, a cup final, and with a whole host of injuries (I know I keep repeating that fact but it is true, and we have been unfortunate in that regard, more than other teams). As long as there is a real improvement next season, and we're fighting higher up the table, then I think most will be happy. If it doesn't look like we're progressing, or we're going backwards, then that's the time to make the change.
  3. We finished 6th after 2 seasons of the same manager! Remember, half of you lot a month ago thought we were in a relegation battle Just see what happens next season. If there isn't any improvement then yes, that's when to get worried. And I'd like to think that we'll be battling for European places.
  4. All of this is irrelevant anyway. We're not going to sack Puel at all, not for likely finishing in the top half of the table. I'd like to know why so many on here are giving the players an easy ride. There's only so much a manager can do. I think a few too many of our fans have delusions of grandeur. We can be a top team in this division, but we're not at the moment. And it's not going to happen by sacking the manager. Swansea have changed their manager loads and now look... they're in the relegation zone.
  5. Why the hell would you want Marco Silva? With 10 minutes to go, he made two defensive substitutions when we were there for the taking. And they went and conceded a penalty. A better manager would've won that for Hull IMO.
  6. We scored twice against Chelsea, so we can play against the big boys. Maybe the players just can't motivate themselves to play against the poor teams. We've beaten Liverpool twice already this season, and they haven't scored against us yet this season. We're a bit of a bogey team.
  7. We're probably going to finish either 8th or 9th... Pochettino's best finish for us was 8th, why weren't people screaming for him to go then? Remember, we lost at home to a relegated Cardiff that season, amongst other poor results. I blame the players on the pitch myself.
  8. To be fair to Long, he did more than Gabbiadini did. Although I don't blame Gabbiadini, because the service to him was dreadful.
  9. You watch, after this we'll go and beat Liverpool
  10. The second half was at least an improvement on the first Can Tadic please not take a penalty ever again?
  11. I think there is a lack of effort, or rather, Hull want it more than us. But I agree, we need an extra CM in there.
  12. Hull haven't exactly played well. They've got into decent positions but done F all with it. They've not really looked like scoring.
  13. I said it in the pre-match thread that it was brave of Puel to name all of those attacking players, and that personally I'd have put another CM in there
  14. I blame the players myself. Half of them look like they're on the beach already Puel was out of his seat for most of the half, so you can tell he isn't pleased at all.
  15. Rubbish Puel was brave to name all of those attacking players but none of them have delivered at all I'd get Boufal off, put Hojbjerg on, try and regain possession in the middle and work from there. Thankfully, Hull haven't been much better

  17. Already been done hypo
  18. Crikey Puel's really going for it I just hope the midfield isn't a bit too unbalanced.
  19. It's important we score early. We have to assume they'll park the bus and hit us on the counter
  20. It's a troll article designed to get bites. Please ignore
  21. For starters, we've played fewer home games than anyone else (most have played 17, we've only played 15) I think the only negative issue for me is the amount of goals scored at home - but we've been scoring more recently (three against Palace for instance) and this was probably more to do with not having an in form striker fit for many of those games, so hopefully that issue has been rectified. The good news - Hull have conceded a whopping 41 goals away and scored only 9
  22. http://www.pompeytrust.com/userfiles/file/PST%20Voting%20Documentation/ProposedSaleInformationPackforPSTMembers.pdf A highlight:  Imagine the meltdown if they did move to an SO postcode area! Isle of Wight would be very funny indeed 25,000 is rather ambitious for them, no? I haven't read all of it but there is some juicy financial information and projections towards the end - I don't know if this is new or not? Perhaps someone with a bit more know how can dissect it.
  23. Yup, very good discussions I've had with him too.
  24. Indeed, the trolls don't like being trolled back. ALWAYS always (pun intended) manages to wind them up though, so credit to him.
