I had a dream that it was 1-1 after 90 minutes, and for some reason, I stopped watching at that point. Later on in the evening, I went online only to see that Man Utd's goalkeeper had scored a 93rd minute winner.
If we win, the Puel out brigade will still crucify him, for "only" beating a second string team.
If we lose, they will be incredulous that we somehow didn't beat Man Utd, even though we haven't beaten them at home for almost 15 years
Is this a joke?
He's named more or less the same squad for the past few games. Our form has been quite poor, so a few changes were entirely necessary. And guess what, we won! Credit to Puel there.
The rotation was necessary earlier because of all the games we had. Only a moron would fail to understand that. Which would explain a lot...
It was a good win, had Long scored the penalty, we probably would've won by 4 or 5.
That's football I guess.
We'll probably need to play better against Man Utd, but hopefully that will give the players a much needed boost ahead of that game.
I still believe that 1 more win from those 2 games will be enough for us to finish 8th.
It would be nice to see a bit more intensity at the start of this second half, and get the job done early.
This could be any score we want, if we show a bit more willingness.
