  1. Liam Buckler‏ @BucklerLiam I think @Michael_Eisner @eric_eisner will be great owners for #pompey. Their track record indicates they will take us to a new level If his track record at Disney is to go by...
  2. Anyone who wants Marco Silva is unambitious.
  3. 81.4% voted in favour! So when it all goes tits up, they will literally only have themselves to blame. No doubt though that they will still blame the FA and Football League
  4. I already posted my thoughts
  5. First out this summer hopefully. I'd rather Tadic went than Puel.
  6. Do you want me to share it on Twitter with "NEW KIT CONFIRMED!!!!"
  7. Every club has their morons, but we do seem to have our fair share of them.
  8. Yeh, quite remarkable how we've finished 8th. Although it also demonstrates just how dominant the top 6 have been. I don't think things will be quite as congested next year. One of the top 6, with European football, will slip up. And without us having European football, I fully expect us to push on next season and improve drastically, with Puel or without. There will be no excuses not to do so.
  9. I said that tongue in cheek, bring in Adkins as our home coach
  10. Probably time to make a change of manager I guess. How on earth have we finished in 8th? However, I personally think that Les Reed, for his failed transfer business, and the players, who have been on the beach, should share some, if not the overwhelming majority, of the blame for this poor end of season. Just please not Marco Silva. We'll be relegation candidates under him.
  11. The last two minutes was entertaining The players need to wake up. Puel is probably the most animated out of anyone
  12. All of which was posted by others before you did. Someone who is ITK wouldn't be so desperate to prove that they are.
  13. Indeed. Wishing physical harm upon our own manager is unpleasant.
  14. Someone who wishes physical harm upon our manager though is unpleasant, whatever your opinion of him may be. RE my previous post about saint lard, to which you are referring. My opinion is he is a troll, I'm not the only one who has said that. Mainly about other things, not the criticism of Puel. And I just remembered who you are too. You got called out on a post that many, many people, including a moderator, believed was designed to get bites. And that culminated with this https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?57996-Sunderland-0-Saints-4-Post-Match-Humble-Pie&p=2463303#post2463303 You seem to be infatuated with me, which for someone who thinks that we are all 'irrelevant' is rather bizarre. I'm still to see this so-called post of me getting you banned. I've never done that to anyone.
  15. https://www.premierleague.com/news/60138 12 times last season Last season, we got £84.76M So a £43M increase on last season. Hence why it'll be pretty easy for us to turn down a huge offer for VVD.
  16. Skate alert
  17. Adkins and Puel as a joint management team. Adkins works on the attacking side, Puel on the defensive. When we need to win, Adkins is in control of tactics; when we're hanging onto a lead, Puel is in charge. Or - Adkins is in charge for the home games, Puel for the away games.
  18. Anyhow we won't finish below Bournemouth. Leicester will beat them at home, easily. They're bringing down 2,000 apparently. One of them is looking forward to going to Southampton beach, wherever that is. http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/268482/southampton-stoke-city?page=1
  19. Even if we finish below Bournemouth, we will get more money than them. It's because we've appeared more on TV than they have.
  20. I agree with this. I actually think Puel has done good work behind the scenes, and whoever the manager is next season will benefit from that. Hopefully it is Puel, and he is given the opportunity to turn it around. He's a title winning manager who has led a team to the Champions League semi-finals. He's probably the most successful manager to have ever managed Southampton. It will click next season, guaranteed.
  21. Utter rubbish. If we finish in the bottom half next season, that would equate regression, and whoever the manager was, I'd be calling for his head. Finishing 8th, with Europa League, masses of injuries etc. is not regression. Puel has done a lot of good work this season, whoever is the manager next season (hopefully Puel) will benefit from that good work done behind the scenes
