You can guarantee Matip will play for Liverpool on Wednesday then.
-
We should have easily beaten them, and that was a bad result.

I don't know if any of you are familiar with the statistics website FiveThirtyEight (based in the USA) and they do a lot of things on American politics and sport, but they've got a new feature on the Premier League https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/soccer-predictions/ According to their model, we'll finish in 10th position. And it gives us a 3% chance of us getting relegated. It also gives us a 51% chance of winning on Sunday. Anyway, for any stats geeks like me, it's interesting to have a look through it.

Why is everyone assuming VVD will leave in the summer? He's signed a long-term deal. I mean, if a big club comes in with a huge offer we will probably accept it, but it's not like it's a given.
-
We'll cheer when he scores a last minute own goal
-
We'll be better off without him.
-
Initial fee was 30m, the add-ons will increase the fee to what MLG said. So you are both correct
-
Yup. Yoshida was always prone to making an error or two but he seems to have cut that out of his game. Perhaps playing alongside someone like VVD takes the pressure off him slightly as well. I do however hope that we sign another centre back, because we're a bit light. Unless, of course, the club feel that Stephens can step up to the plate as and when he is required.

Here's some quotes from the Leicester fans
-
Leicester will come here and park the bus. We will struggle to break them down but we'll get a jammy 88th minute winner. WE WILL WIN! KEEP THE FAITH, CLAUDE PUEL'S RED AND WHITE ARMY.
-
Yes, I'm laughing at fans specifically like you
-
I wholeheartedly agree with this
-
We won't have lost 5 games in a row anyway so the point is redundant. Same team that beat Liverpool at home would be nice, subject to injuries. I imagine against Liverpool, we'll play on the counter so Long would be best starting in that game IMO.

And who is responsible for that doom and gloom I wonder? Any new faces or is it the usual bedwetters? Hmmmm

Another thread that I will be bumping at the end of the season to laugh at

Interestingly, that's now 7 straight home games that we have scored exactly one goal. And that run started, coincidentally, when Austin got injured. Pretty poor from the board that we haven't signed a striker yet. -

Sparta Prague at home? Inter Milan (the second half at least, as we were 1-0 down) Arsenal away in the EFL Cup -

Bournemouth probably. Maybe not quite as good, as it took them scoring for us to start performing. -

I'm not going to advocate sacking the manager if that's what you mean. But we need to arrest our poor league form, and that in itself is a reason why we need 3 points. -

That wasn't the point. The point that he made was the lack of performance, when we put in a superb performance just 7 days ago! Now we need another one on Saturday. Leicester is a massive game. -

There were obviously some very good individual performances. McQueen in particular, and Sims. Redmond seemed lively when he came on too. We were the only team looking to win, and we finally managed to break down a team who comes to park the bus. Leicester is a MUST WIN -
That team won't play again this season, so I'd hardly get too concerned
