Europa League 2016/2017 (Died 8/12/2016)
Pamplemousse replied to ScepticalStan's topic in The Saints
Meanwhile, Hearts are currently losing at home to a team from Malta. Hibs lost on penalties so they're out, leaving Aberdeen the only Scottish side left. The last Welsh side, Connah's Quay Nomads, also lost, as did Northern Irish side Cliftonville. Cork City won against Hacken from Sweden Dundalk from the Republic of Ireland are in the 3rd qualifying Round of the Champions League, so if they lose, they drop in to the Europa League play-off round (likely since they play BATE Borisov) -

Aberdeen won their match. Hibs are currently playing extra time against Brondby, five minutes or so away from penalties -
They are clearly well supported on their away tour **THOSE OF A NERVOUS DISPOSITION SHOULD LOOK AWAY**

Another mighty result as Pompey get a 2-2 victory over plucky Salisbury. The ref, once again, was overawed by the occasion.
-
Surely they'd be angrier that he dared to venture into SO postcode territory.

We get the pick of all the best talent in Hampshire. If they're at Pompey, it's safe to say they're not that good.

JWP goal from open play. Good lord, what a time to be alive

I suspect most people will be at work. And it was only 5 minutes ago that I realised we were even playing, let alone on youtube

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Pamplemousse replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
Why should Muslims have to come out condemning this? It's not their fault. The overwhelming majority want nothing to do with this. Were all Irish people responsible for the numerous IRA attacks? Nevertheless, there obviously is a problem with Islam. All religions have a radical element but radical Islam is the most extreme. But stereotyping France as some sort of paradise for a Muslim invasion is simply not true. -

Idiot I've lived in a French city with a significant Muslim population and not once were there any issues. And not sort of any 'Muslim takeover' -

Aberdeen were the only British team to win their first leg. The draw for the third qualifying round is tomorrow, when West Ham come in to play. -
Jose Fonte was already a legend and this just further confirms it. The decision by our former manager to drop Cedric at the end of the season looks more and more baffling.

The board is currently being upgraded. Please check back later. That's the message I get

Remember, Portsmouth went there in a friendly match and lost! So it's not easy for the giants of world football -

I'm actually out of the country when the draw is being made, so someone else will have to work out the details with airports and routes. But we'll get a closer idea of the teams we could face by then. -
I rather enjoy Alpine's meltdowns

Perhaps it's to replace Martina

Like West Ham claim they won the World Cup, can we claim that we won the Euros?

I've just inputted all the possible teams into Google Earth. So these are the closest teams to St Mary's that we could possibly face at the moment, excluding the other English teams Lille Gent Anderlecht The New Saints Ajax Feyenoord AZ Connah's Quay Nomads Cork City Genk Standard Liege Meanwhile, the teams the furthest away from us: Kairat, which isn't that far away from the Chinese border! Astana Kapaz Gabala Neftci Baku Dinamo Tbilisi Shirak Alashkert Hapoel Be'er Sheva Beitar Jerusalem Maccabi Tel Aviv
