Last season the fixtures for February and the beginning of March were announced on the 19th December. I can't find when the rest of March's fixtures were announced, but April's were announced on 20th February. So I'd say March's fixtures should be known in the third or fourth week of January.

We haven't beaten Portsmouth since 2005 and that needs to be put right.

I think we have to write off this season for him, a bit like Walcott last season for Arsenal after coming back from a lengthy spell out.

Koeman will shut up shop and it will be a dull 0-0 draw. It won't be pretty but it might be needed to give the defence a confident boost going into the Spurs and Arsenal matches.

Let's not forget that Hesketh was given his debut by Koeman. Had he not got injured perhaps he would have had a longer stint in the first team. Seager's been on the bench this season and hopefully we will see him at some point.

Throw a curveball and put in Seager instead?
