Lallana should play, he was a vital part of our two promotions and probably second only to Lambert in importance. Of course, what has happened since means that the club may not even invite him and if he does play he'll get a lot of abuse.
Why has anyone not mentioned Portsmouth, what with their superior history, their two league titles and FA Cup victories, of course they should be considered, they're definitely a big, sleeping giant, yes?
I think Poch would be more suited to Man Utd or even Arsenal, who have a better reputation for developing young players. Chelsea don't have the patience to wait a year or two, Abramovich is all about instant success.
Corporate Ho a.ka. Banker has a message for us over on POL! This is in reply to Northampton being in financial difficulty
And in response, the Portsmyths start stirring...
:mcinnes:
Just checked POL... some are blaming the board for not showing enough ambition and want them to spend the money. There are those who are shouting them down though, to be fair.
7 points off 3rd place now... looks like they'll have to settle for the lottery of the play-offs. Considering their budget and this is their third season down there, it's embarrassing for them. Lol.
