  1. What does that mean exactly?
  2. Eddie Howe was Newcastle manager before SR took over
  3. Tbh I can see most of our decent young players like Alcaraz and Sulemana staying. Joao Pedro and Sarr stuck around with Watford. Lavia the only one who will go because we'll get decent money for him. Why bother selling Alcaraz or Sulemana for only a little more (or less) than what we paid, knowing they'll be potentially worth big bucks in a couple of years' time.
  4. I'm going. I can't wait. Not.
  5. This is a shadow of Ralph's teams.
  6. Yeah, would make relegation a bit easier to accept
  7. He clearly cares. I'd give him the captain's armband
  8. Lol behave. We won't go down next season, not a chance. At worst we'll be in midtable but we have enough resources to spend our way out of any trouble (for the Championship). Even Nathan Jones could probably get us at least 12th next season. For a good comparison see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015–16_Aston_Villa_F.C._season (note how far worse they are than we are) and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016–17_Aston_Villa_F.C._season And hopefully we won't be stupid enough to appoint someone like Di Matteo.
  9. There are 19 other teams without him who are better than us. We'll cope fine without him. Actually, it might be better, same with Tottenham who are overly reliant on Kane. We should never be so reliant on one person to dig us out of a hole.
  10. Forest at home was the worst for sure, mainly because of how terrible they were, and how much worse we were.
  11. You might have more luck today. If you're on twitter, follow the saintsfc hashtag. There are usually spare tickets available on the day. Just watch out for scammers.
  12. This is incredibly embarrassing for Sport Republic, for an organisation who wants to buy more clubs, our relegation, the relegation of their "anchor" club, will hurt their reputation. That's why I'm optimistic for next season. I think they'll back us and ensure we return asap. Just someone please tell Rasmus to fuck off.
  13. Not even angry any more. Bournemouth passed the ball around quickly. We dither with it. Why? It is so a) awful to watch and b)tactically a disaster, allowing teams to set up and just wait for us to make a mistake. And still Selles doesn't change a single thing from the "plan" We need a mass clear out of players and staff, and hopefully Selles doesn't even return to his old post next season, he has not got a clue at all.
  14. Sport Republic trying to be too clever. A steep learning curve and hopefully that prick Rasmus will learn to take his ego out of the equation.
  15. Everton are absolutely fucked if they go down financially. They could genuinely do a Sunderland (or Portsmouth) and get relegated again next season.
  16. That team wins this game comfortably. We'll actually have someone up front who can hold the ball up for a change.
  17. If we win on Thursday that drags Bournemouth back into it if they go on a losing run
  18. I never forgave him for that.
  19. Personally I think Leeds are in a much worse position than Leicester. Realistically, if we are going to stay up, it needs to be Forest, Everton and Leeds. Leicester have enough 'easy' games to get out of it.
  20. If we play like we did last night, we'll start picking up more points. I don't see a route to us staying up if we don't win this game. We have to win. It's as simple as that. Nothing else will do.
  21. Sunday 2pm is a much better kick off time than a Friday night or Saturday lunchtime IMO. For me anyway.
  22. If any manager were to leave for another club, at least it would mean we were successful.
  23. Fair enough. Good on them to offer cheap tickets like that tbh.
  24. Next season will be far, far worse. Friday night or Saturday lunchtime kick offs and we'll have quite a few of them.
  25. As a caretaker I'd take Adkins for the last few games. But for next season? No.
