  1. No doubt if we played Portsmouth, Semmens and Steele would allow TCWTB to bring it whatever he wanted
  2. Fulham got Marco Silva in the Championship. I think we should be able to attract a whole host of managers who wish to rebuild their reputation in English football. For me, I would like Patrick Vieira.
  3. He's the reason we're in the Premier League this season. History will judge him well.
  4. He'll be great for us in the Championship. A bit like how Super Kelvin Davis kept us in matches in the lower leagues, and then was obviously out of his depth in the top flight.
  5. All starts with Ankersen IMO. His ego, his signings, his managerial appointments. He's the problem.
  6. We can change the manager but the only way we can shift the players is relegation. Honestly think it will be a blessing in disguise for us. I don't enjoy watching these losers, at least we would have a semi-decent team next season. And then from there we can rebuild.
  7. Things had gone stale under Ralph, but he would have kept us up as a minimum
  8. Genuine question. At what point do the fans start to organise against the board, who I think most agree are responsible for this mess? Look at clubs like Everton for example, whose fans have been far more vocal against their leadership.
  9. I honestly don't care. Reset needed, the players are part of the problem. Get what we can for them and invest it in a squad full of winners, not these losers.
  10. We need a reset. Relegation is the only way, in the long term we will be better off without most of these players who have a loser mentality.
  11. Don't care, as long as Wankersen is nowhere near the decision making process
  12. Adams still injured. Got to be Tall Paul up front.
  13. I look forward to the same comparison next season. Who's going to be the next Ricardo Fuller, Kamil Kosowski or Jermaine Wright?
  14. If Adams isn't fit then he has to play surely
  15. I'd be surprised tbh if relegation delayed it, loads of clubs in the Championship have it. It can't be that expensive surely.
  16. Yeah agreed. That was a red flag for me.
  17. Ouch
  18. Vieira for me. Think he would be have the reputation for some of our young players to consider staying in the Championship rather than jump shit ASAP.
  19. If Adams isn't fit for Palace then he simply has to play. We need someone who can hold the ball up.
  20. Exactly this. Our creativity in both games was non-existant.
  21. As a STH, I've bought tickets for mates (neutrals) this season. If I wanted to, it would be very easy to get tickets for away fans in the home section. Think the real issue will be if it's a team say Bournemouth or Portsmouth where there is real animosity. I think part of the problem are the ticket prices and where we are in the league, which means more tickets are available for general sale than normal.
  22. Sounds like it's all much ado about nothing. Why would we fork out so much money in January if there were financial problems? Nothing to worry about.
  23. We absolutely have to win. Sadly given our manager's tendency to think too much about how to stop the opponent (and failing) rather than setting us up to hurt them, we may struggle here. Anything other than a win is a poor result. Let's attack, build up a decent lead, and then worry in the second half about keeping it tight. Selles though will make things too confusing and will try to be clever with the team selection and fucking this up, I can sense it.
  24. I'm actually fairly optimistic, as long as we get the managerial appointment right. We have enough decent young players, even if we do sell some, that a season of them together winning most weeks, playing attractive, attacking football, could be a springboard for a successful Premier League campaign in 2024-25. It's not going to be all doom and gloom.
  25. Michael Salisbury was the VAR, so no surprises, he's the worst referee in the league.
