  1. I don't think there will be more Saturday 3pms. Obviously we would be of the biggest teams in the league so expect plenty of our games to get moved to Friday night or Saturday lunchtime for TV
  2. 100% He is the problem.
  3. Almost certainly. Which is OK as I'd rather we brought Sullemana on from the bench. Having said that though, won't Moi be fasting? Maybe Selles will drop him if he doesn't think he'll have the energy levels for the full 90.
  4. Jones was an awful manager, make no mistake about it. Selles is better but not the long term option, he's just too defensive.
  5. Tbh if we do go down, I'd want them to come up. Would give a bit of edge to next season. And it's been too long since we beat them in a league game.
  6. If we set up against Palace like we did against West Ham I'll go balistic.
  7. Given that we still have to play Bournemouth and Forest, yesterday's losses for them were perfect for us. Those are two teams we have to overhaul if we are to stay up, and if we beat them both we should do so. Leicester in big trouble too but I actually think Everton are more likely than them to go down.
  8. The gap between the Premier League and Championship is wider than it was 26 years ago... Not that I want to go all MLG but if Bournemouth can bounce back, so can we. I'd compare us to Fulham when they went down, think we just need to get the managerial appointment correct.
  9. Presumably you missed the last game before the international break...
  10. If we do go down then a total reset is needed, starting with the manager. Vieira is a good shout, opportunity for him to rebuild his reputation. What would Selles do I wonder? I couldn't see him accepting what would effectively a demotion back to assistant manager, but then again, he'd be unlikely to get a decent managerial role.
  11. The bottom half teams are awful. Honestly we could have Nathan Jones in charge of our Championship team and probably finish 6th. Only issue would be that we would be a big fish and teams would inevitably raise their game against us, a bit like us against Chelsea, Man Utd, Spurs etc.
  12. The Championship as a division is shit. We would be absolutely fine.
  13. Loads of midweek games as well tomorrow and Wednesday. We're likely to be at least 4 points from safety, Leeds v Forest will mean someone will pull away from us.
  14. We have to play a million times better today and that's just to keep the scoreline somewhat respectable. Obviously stranger things have happened and you never know, but I rate out chances 0/10 of getting anything. Just hope for some sort of positive performance that can be encouraging for the fans going into the must-win Palace game.
  15. Rodgers would be a sensational appointment for us. Obviously things have gone badly wrong for them but he did win the FA Cup and took them very close to the Champions League. I'd be delighted if we finish in the top 10 in the next 5 years.
  16. I'm actually pretty nervous now. We've got to somehow get a result. If Onuachu is starting which it sounds like he will be, hopefully we've been practising our crosses. Perraud in particular.
  17. Have to beat Palace, Bournemouth and Fulham at home for certain. We can maybe afford draws against West Ham and Forest but that would probably depend on us getting a shock win or two against Man City/Arsenal/Newcastle or Brighton. And then the final day against Liverpool could be anything, depends if they have anything to play for.
  18. Bournemouth winning the only bad one. But we've still got them to play so still got an opportunity for us to reel them in.
  19. Haha. I was about to post that I've changed my mind about tomorrow not being must win
  20. Arsenal beating Leeds
  21. Hard to work out what is best in the Palace v Leicester and Forest v Wolves games for us Hopefully we get 3 points tomorrow and we'll be out of the drop zone anyway
  22. All very interesting, but then again, according to the data, Nathan Jones was the best manager in world football
  23. That quote would be true if there were 5 games left of the season. Imagine if we got 1 point on Sunday and then beat Man City. I think most people would take that right now if offered. I know we're likely to lose against Man City but that's why in my mind this isn't a must win, there are still plenty of opportunities left. Yes on paper this is an easier one but still, I think I'd be OK with a draw tbh. Worse result for West Ham than us.
  24. A point isn't a terrible result.
  25. At least the West Ham game is earlier in the day. If they eat their last meal before sunrise then hopefully they'll be OK during the game. Man City game the following week will be trickier as that's in the evening.
