  2. Ooops - chuck ina m*nge, c**t and p*55flaps
  3. Hairy axe-wound ***** Growler Flange Fadge Cockpit Beaver Badger Gash Clunge Tw*t **** ****flaps Pussy All classics. "Get your rat out!"
  4. They all go bonkers for English footy there so any decent sized bar will have a big screen and the PL/Champ games shown live on Sky will be on. Head to the main strip in Chaweng. There used to be a Portsmouth FC bar there, interestingly enough, run by a huge Skate. My non-Saints 'mates' dragged me in there for a laugh, but he was dead good about it - free beers to the scummer for having the balls to go in there etc
  5. Good shout, i'll tell the cow to bring her bell along with her too shall I ?
  6. Ticket office said they're available on the door...she did question my Saints origins with my Manc accent, which was quite funny !
  7. I'm up for this one...admittedly it's only 20mins away for me. Bringing the missus to her first Saints game too...hope it's a belter. not been for yet this season, any new songs I should know about ?
  8. debt for equity swap - depends on the creditors appetite to write off debt, take equity in a Newco and then install management team and play the waiting game.
  9. In any admin istration situation you get dozens of expressions of interest. Very few are serious/credible and able to financially undertake it. I'd be surprised if more than 2 or 3 were realistic and credible buyers
  10. What arrogant nonsense and drivel. I'm probably one of those you make reference to in that I turned up 5 minutes before kick-off having enjoyed a pre match pint in the pub. I found the game incredibly frustrating (what's new) and a few times went OTT at how **** we were. Does it make me any less of a fan ? Not at all. Perhaps a few home truths for the current shower of ****e we have playing is what they need.
  11. I'll play if there's a game. Making an appearance at that game with some local mates of mine I think (couple of Blackpool fans) and probably going on a bender (beer kind, not summers kind) that weekend Sorry Summers
  12. I might be heading down that way visiting relos in feb - might see if I can time it at the same time
  13. We have been on the downlope for years, since relegation. The time to gamble was when Lowe was ousted. They gambled. We lost. We have been on the down and out since the playoff failure.
  14. Unfortunately banks don't work like that. The bank's view will be to maximise their returns based on the existing scenario. The flipside to your view is that we are very likely to get relegated without sales and then the bank would be £3m plus the wages from Feb-June incurred worse off.
  15. slight tanget: The bank's focus will not be to speculate on retaining players etc (your version of the false economy). The bank will be fully aware of the financial position of the club, that without the event of a takeover/return to the premership this season (which is not going to happen even if they retain everyone) we are likely to be close to administration. Their viewpoint will be, quite simply, to not worsen their current exposure. Therefore cost cutting, disposals of any players etc will all be seen as bebenficial as it reduces their current exposure. Commercial (as opposed to investment) banks aren't interested in the potential l-t growth of businesses (equivalent to an equity stake in an ordinary business), they will just want to see their debt repaid. Anyone hoping they will speculate to accumulate etc is just wishfully thinking I'm afraid
  16. Failing that, always a fan of the simple: "Duck off Rupert" "how Lowe can we go" etc On a separate note, how long before a return of the "Hope you die soon" iconic protest is mooted by all and sundry ?
  17. I quite like the photo on the left with some sort of Kitchener style WW1 propaganda" "Your football club doesn't need you" or something along those lines
  18. group structures like you mention are all very common and not a bit more complicated at all. worth understanding that whichever group company owns the stadium, the bank will likely have a charge over the consoldiated group's assets to cover the cost of the debt, no matter which group company they belong to. Therefore if one of the subsidiary companies were to be placed into administration by the bank, what would actually happen is that the group would be placed into administration. hope that clears it up
  19. sad as I might be (or am), I actually used to really enjoy going to games when we were crap (exc Matt Le Tiss) and had 10 ****e grafters on the pitch. I'm thinking of grim wednesday nights in crap towns like Leicester, with the likes of Benali, Evans, Maddison, Magilton etc on the pitch. I expected us to get beat by PL teams every week and was chuffed if we went home with a draw. That glimmer of faint hope transpired into massive satisfaction if we ever won a game away. I remember being totally gutted losing 4-3 away at Leicester to a last minute penalty and it ruining my week. Now, for various reasons, but mostly due to bemusement that its come to this, I found it difficult to even muster the desire to go to a game, I'm filled with fear that we will get thumped by teams even worse than us and there is no faint glimmer of hope of turning the corner. Frankly, getting to the point where I find it hard to care and thats what ****es me off the most.
  20. Preston away - why not ?
