Great support from the crowd - OWTSGMI

shite penalty and corners not beating the first man...FFS
-
Agreed. If we lose to wolves Leeds and forest in must win six pointers…
-
Bednarek & bazunu - pathetic from both. neither should be near a PL team.
-
Didn’t say they’d compete, said half-decent. the championship is a very average league. Armstrong scored about 25-30 goals in a season for Blackburn for example…
-
Does he pick names and formations using a dartboard? Net spend of £140m on last year and that is our best team? We deserve to go down
-
We might raise significant funds in player sales, but having spent £140m in the last two windows, plus with the inevitable drop in income, I am sceptical there will be significant money reinvested in the squad.
-
We have a massive squad of largely championship calibre players. The good or saleable ones will go (JWP, KWP, ABK, Salisu, Lavia, Tino, Perraud, Tella etc). Maybe a couple of loans out of high earning recent signings who inevitably turn out to be crap (Tall Paul, Sulemeena) or don't want to be here (Bednarek) Doubt we will make many new signings, maybe a few loans from prem teams. The nucleus of the team will be those already here. People like Stephens, Ely, Lyanco, Aribo, A Armstrong, Adams, Bree etc will find their level and will be important first team players in the championship. A few of the youngsters might also benefit from being in the championships (Edozie, Larios etc). Smallbone might also get a run out. Team will be something like: Baz Bree, Stephens, Lyanco, Larios, Djenepo Diallo, Smallbone, Orsic Armstrong, Adams Play McCarthy, and its probably a half-decent championship team. CM looks a bit weak.

Away games you’re looking forward to next year (assuming we get relegated)

luton, watford, coventry and the Sheffield teams. -
That is not quite correct. Kraft and Ankerson are shareholders in SR Holdings, with no corporate shareholders up the chain on SR Holdings (per D&B). Dragan has control (most of the shares and controls the voting rights), but does not have the only shareholding/ownership interest.
-
Has control, but is not the only shareholder. Kraft and Ankersen also shareholders.
-
The question is simple. why is Jones still in charge?
-
given the WC, we’re at the normal Xmas stage of the season at the end of Jan. although we’re still bottom
-
Money was wasted on several players nowhere near ready for the first team (lavia excluded), when it should have been spent on 2-3 quality and ready for first team action players.
-
Down - and pretty obvious since about a year ago it would happen, certainly since the summer. No goals, barely any quality in all areas of the pitch, no wise heads, too much calamity defending/goalkeeping. Add in now a tactically weak manager who seems focused more on scoring points vs the fans than on the pitch.
-
Read this down the pub last night - I can confirm you are correct.
-
Agree with all of the above, until 2pm Saturday arrives and the bonkers lineup is announced..
-
Anyone but Bazunu in goal Back four; with a RB playing at RB and a LB playing at LB (KWP, RP); Christ knows from our CBs - not sure it makes much difference. Lavia and Alcarez/Diallo JWP Any two of our non-creative/non-scoring wingers - doesn't really matter which New Crouch up front Team almost picks itself.
-
I've voted 2. More unproven gambles. Striker sounds promising, but could be too little too late. Spent £100m+ on a lot of dross the last two windows. Would have been better off signing Lavia, a proper GK and Danny Ings. Left with a bloated squad of average players. Shades of 2004/5. Will be very happy to be proven wrong. Unlikely with NJ at the helm
-
He’s shite, end of. Needs a proper keeper. Shades of the first season back in the prem when we saw similar mistakes each week, until Boruc came in and reminded us that goalkeepers actually make saves and command their area.
-
would rather they turned up vs Forest and Everton Entirely predictable so far
-
not surprising that we don't turn up when it matters
-
WTF Bet this doesn't happen vs Everton
-
Ely looked good at Celtic
