  1. Can't remember the last time we scored from a set piece
  2. hopefully he'll get another soon
  3. Quite so. From Wikipedia: "He is a well-known supporter of his local club, Hartlepool United F.C., in which during the 2008–09 season, he would use a singing toy figure of the singer James Brown singing "I Feel Good" every time the player of the same name scored"
  4. They're hosting the monkey hangers this weekend. That's right, table-bottoming Hartlepool. If they can't get a result against them it really might be time to wheel out the well-upholstered soprano
  5. "- the group has been looking at League Two side Plymouth and Conference outfit Torquay United among others." which places the bestestest most local club 'among others' - that is, if they've been considered by Twitchy at all
  6. That plucky plastic plaque should be adjusted in order to reflect the magnitude of their most local 'atmosphere' ie unwashed armpits and the fetid outputs of all those fishy squeaky sphincters
  7. Saggy's expression there says it all: Fernandez may've closed his chequebook but there's one born every minute... the sleepiest giant will just have to fleece a few more shareholders
  8. All their players - Past, Present or Imaginary - have ambiguous hero/zero/villain status depending on how close they are to their next Meltdown/Bankruptcy/Relegation/Insolvency
  9. You are no longer 'mightiest' nor 'bestest' Ricky, but by the same token neither are you most local or gaptoothiest. Result.
  10. 10/10 top nutjob
  11. Another epithet: most deluded
  12. That plucky plastic plaque could use a bit of ethical hacking... Anyway it seems we are forced to add another epithet to their growing list - mightiest
  13. Tranmere scored. The most local are down to 19th
  14. If you say Lidl slowly it sounds like this: LLLLLLLLDLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Which is about right for their form the last few seasons
  15. It's like deja vu all over again. The most local club has found its true vocation as a bottom tier permanent resident.
  16. Anyone heard what Awful's excuse was this time? Dog ate his homework? Ref overawed by the most local crowd?
  17. Cambridge's plucky cup run is a joy to behold, happily the most local club have embarked on a rich Cup run of their own which will fill their war chest ready for a renewed assault on the upper reaches of their League... Oh.
  18. Please God.
  19. Overgrown allotment?
  20. #tinpotmost
  21. I can see the dwindling band of most local supporters spitting their dummies out if they fail to win their next match, let alone the next few
  22. Their away form is dire. Could be interesting
  23. I've just realised that we're already more than 1% of our way to the next 100,000 posts, which is a magnificent testament to the diligence of nutjobs throughout the last half decade
  24. They'll be consoling themselves that they're climbing the ladder having made it to mid-table in the 4th tier, whilst we remain rooted to the top three. The fact that results at the foot of their table have gone against them leaving them a filthy fingernail's breadth from relegation won't trouble them in the slightest.
