We went to all the knock out games. Unforgettable experience and last tournament where games were easily available and decently priced. Arguably Gazza’s tears initiated PL based on popularity and interest was wider than just blokes. Documentary series on CH4 at mo about Italia 90. Different times and had to have your wits about you but more raw than the PL sanitised experience. Resonated when they said going to football was about avoiding getting your head kicked in.
